I remember the day you tried to leave, you said goodnight my love then awoke me to we arent meant to be, but I disagreed, when you approached me, finally, I was buzzing like a bee, now I am belittled and caged inside as a pea. Every time you walk towards me I am still deluded to believe you will pick me up off my feet and bring me to an old Olive tree to kiss me and set my soul free. I am entranced in the fallacies I create in my daydreams in which you get down on one knee, by the sea, my favourite place to be, but you don't know that about me.. so I sit down grab a book to read and pour myself a cup of tea, reminisce upon what could have been.
