"Whispers of Regret in Icy Winds"

In winter's grip, you embraced the frosty air;
Ignoring warnings, danced without a care.
Against my counsel, you danced in the snow;
Now, sneezing like a goose, your tissues in tow.

Dear heart, in the chilly winter breeze,
Remorse nags as you fight the flu with unease.
Regret's shadow looms in the frosty night,
A symphony of coughs, a dance with fever's bite.

I pleaded with you beneath the winter moon so round;
To shield from flu's grip, a headache profound.
Yet, here you stand, tissues in hand,
Caught in winter's web, a cough's demanding command.

Germs rode icy winds on wings so swift;
A viral choir in the cold air does drift.
Aches and chills, a comedy of winter's woe,
Dear heart, regret's bitter punchline in the afterglow.

I warned against cold baths, oh so brisk,
And crowded gatherings, a festive risk.
In cheerful crowds, you boldly dove;
Now, coughs and chills, an unwelcome comedy trove.

Blankets and fireside warmth, oh so divine;
Yet, you chose winter's chill, a risky line.
A weakened immune, the price to pay,
Dear heart, regrets linger as nights turn gray.

Inhaled icy breaths, a frosty dare;
Frostbite's sting, an ailment so unfair.
I cautioned against this winter's plight,
Now, in sniffled silence, regret takes flight.

The winter's tale of woes extends beyond cold baths;
Frost-nipped fingers and icy aftermaths.
Dear heart, in this season's misgiving,
Reflect on choices, start a healthier living.

Countless times I urged, but you chose to roam;
Now, a symphony of coughs, a somber tone.
Frostbitten echoes in the winter's night,
Dear heart, in health's embrace, find your respite.

In shadows cast by winter's silent night,
A tale unfolds of choices that invite.
The bitter cold, a relentless foe,
Yet, you ventured where fevers grow.

Beyond the cold baths and crowded throng,
Lurked dangers unseen, a wintery song.
In frost-kissed breezes, viruses dance,
A gambit played, a sickly chance.

I warned of not just the winter breeze,
But surfaces touched, a viral tease.
Door handles and shared spaces abound, oh dear;
Now, in regret's echo, illness is found so near.

Fireside warmth, a refuge untold,
Yet, you chose the winter's biting cold.
Frostbitten fingers, a chilling touch,
Dear heart, regrets now clutch.

In winter's tale of woes, another verse;
A tale of dampness, a chilling curse.
Wet clothes clinging to shivering skin,
A recipe for the chills within.

I cautioned against the damp attire,
But you brushed it off with carefree desire.
Now, in sniffles and shivers, you dwell,
A lesson learned in this cold spell.

Beyond the winter's frosty kiss,
In dampness lies another abyssal bliss.
Umbrellas neglected, raindrops fall,
A soaking story, a weakened wall.

I urged for shelter from the winter rain;
Yet, you danced in puddles, carefree and vain.
Now, in coughs and sneezes, the repercussions unfold;
Dear heart, in reflection, let your story be told.

Winter's chorus sings of choices made so absurd,
In fevered breaths and regrets absurdly blurred.
Dear heart, in this symphony of winter's strife,
Find healing notes for a healthier life.

Countless times I pleaded, but you danced on;
Now, in a wintery duet, regrets spawn.
A melody of sniffles and echoes of sneeze,
Dear heart, embrace wellness—let the laughter ease.

A/N:

Guys, I am ill. I have a fever, stuffy nose, headache, and my throat is hurting badly. I am having trouble breathing. I have an exam tomorrow, but right now, I am feeling terrible. (>▂<) I can't concentrate on studying; that's why I am just lying down on the bed and writing this poem. I feel lethargic and giddy, so there may be some mistakes; please don't mind.

Luckily, my second sister is taking care of me while scolding, 'Rozi, you are 23, not 3; why can't you take care of yourself?'

Well I don't expect to be ill right? (• ▽ •;)
