It was finally Friday. I put on a hoodie and a pair of shorts and fixed my hair before picking up my phone.

I got to Noah's house about 15 minutes later and I knock on the door, Vicky (Noah's mum), quickly answering. She pulled me into a hug.
"Aww Cody!! My sweet boy!! I missed you" she smiled as I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I look up to see Noah
"Noah, sweetie, you didn't tell me Cody was coming"
"Yeah.. we're gonna talk about things"
"Ah, right. I'll leave you to it, remember Cody, you can have anything you want , it's your house too"
"Yes yes, love you Vicky"
"Love you too sweetheart"
"Noah I love your mum!!"
"You've said.." Noah rolls his eyes as we walk up the stairs to his room. It's still basically the same, dark-ish gray walls, double bed with grey fluffy sheets and a small doggy bed next to it for Nia, speaking of Nia where is she..?
All of a sudden I feel something twisting round my legs, I look down to see a big golden retriever. I crouch down and sit on the floor to pet the dog.
"Hii Nia I missed you!!" I smile and she barks at me
"Ok, come on, we need to talk things out, I made a fort we can talk in"
"A FORT?"
"Yeah, like old times.."
"Aww!!"
The two of us got comfortable and we started talking about everything that happened and we both apologised because of how much we didn't realise we were both dicks in the situation. After a few hours we were sitting in the fort watching Derry Girls.
"You are such a Claire" Noah says, laughing a little
"Says you Michelle" I smile
"Fair enough"
Soon enough I fell asleep, arms wrapped around Noah and his head leaning on top of mine.
In the morning I left instantly after spam messages from my mum. As soon as I got home I headed to my room and started writing out some lyrics on a scrap piece of paper. After hours of writing and sitting in my room I finally had a song written.
