The start of war

No one's POV
It was early morning the sun just started to show through the trees and there was a slight mist throughout the jungle. we see a man in full ghillie sneak onto a mountain nearby the community of Jake. He pulled out a spyglass and started looking for holes in the defenses after a couple of minutes he walked back over to a parasaur with a flag on its back of a flaming bird surrounded by fire.

Jake's POV

I was walking through the village in the early morning just admiring the scenery it was so early almost no-one was awake a few of the handlers were walking in the stables but other than that not a single soul. I heard the familiar voice of Emily yell my name as she ran up to me "hey Emily what's going on why are you awake so early" I ask "I woke up early I don't really know why" she responded with a smile. I saw she asked "what are you doing up so early" I shrugged most of the day after that conversation was normal. Time skip to 3 or 4 hours after I talked with Emily I walked into the new and improved stables to see the Rex we tamed a while ago now officially named thumper. I named the Rex thumper because it was the name of a rabbit in a really old cartoon I watched as a kid also I didn't know what to name it. We traded with the howling wolves a bit more but every time they arrive they tell us more and more stories of other tribes being wiped out because of the phoenix resurrection tribe. They even had refugees come to their tribe from tribes that were destroyed by them it scared me but I thought it would be fine the. next few day were nothing special I had put a couple watchmen on the walls we had four of them in total. A man named Andreas approached me and asked to do it he was a Spartan from Ancient Greece he said something along the line of "I'm a Spartan fighting is in my blood" the next three were butch, JC, and Althea. Butch was a extremely strong man, JC was a black man from 1997 he was in a gang and Althea was and abnormally tall African woman from cleopatras time. A week after they took their positions on watch Andreas spotted a man i full Camo looking at our wall with a spyglass we watched as he got up ran to the forest and flew away on a pteradon with a flag on it back. It was the phoenix resurrection I nearly lost my balance. "Shit" was the only thing I could say I climbed down the ladder and immediately went to work "hey Lucas we need a defensive strategy" I said as I ran past him he new what I was talking about he gathered some of the most strategic minds in the tribe. I kept speed walking and found AJ. I said "hey AJ we need weapons now" AJ responded with "what going on boss" "we spotted a phoenix resurrection scout on a mountain nearby" his eyes widened "Im on it" as he said that I practically ran away to the stables to find Ava petting one of the raptors "Ava listen we need to prepare for a fight everyone including the Dinos" she got scared and it shown I continue "we spotted a phoenix resurrection scout and we might be attacked soon" she ran off yelling at the other handlers to get ready. I had Althea stay on the walls as a look out and we had JC take off on one of the argentavis's when he came back he had horrible news there was a giant army of both people and Dino's including rexes, raptors, saber tooth's, and terror birds but easily the most worrisome one was the huge giga. We never fought a giga and from what the howling wolves have told us they are like gods with how powerful they are but they couldn't be controlled when they became to injured becoming more powerful we didn't have a lot of time. Not much time passed before we got a makeshift army made up. None of us are experts in battle except Andreas but we had fight. The only actual advantage is we know they are coming to us but that's not much help. I decided to rally a couple of people and some on two of our saber tooth tigers I was on swift. We ran to where JC said they were. I never imagined what I saw there, there was sabers, terror birds, and raptors but we saw sarcos and argentavis' as well. We where about to head back from our stealth mission until I looked at one of the men on foot with a cross bow. It went silent like the world shut off and I saw the man release the arrow in our direction I saw it in slow motion as the arrow pierce through the throat of the man beside me. "Run" I shouted as I ran towards the community walls although I wasn't running I was out of breath shocked and surly scared at what I just witnessed. Me and the second man arrived at the gates and were let in. Once we were inside we were surrounded Emily pushed through the crowd "Jake what happened where is the other guy" I responded in a voice that barley anyone could hear "he died shot in the throat by the phoenix resurrection tribe" the crowed began to panic. That's when we heard the war horn of the phoenix resurrection it time to do or die
