It's been a few days since Hanbin and Zhang Hao started being friends again, and they both hadn't felt this happy in a long time.

"Come on, let's go home now." Hanbin takes his car keys out of his pocket after school.

"You can go ahead. I have to make a stop before going home." Zhang Hao tells him.

"What? Where? I can drive you there."

"No no, it's fine. I'll see you at home."

"Well, okay." Hanbin stops insisting. They've been really close these past few days. He doesn't want Zhang Hao to start thinking he's being clingy. Hanbin gets in his car and Zhang Hao waves at him before he drives away.

"Looks like Hanbin went from second lead to first lead." Ricky tells Yujin and Gyuvin, who are standing by the school entrance.

After school, they never really go with Zhang Hao and Hanbin anymore since they all prefer walking home together.

"What do you mean? Hanbin has always been the first lead. Nothing can beat the childhood friend trope." Yujin tells him.

"Well, actually. There are some dramas where-" Gyuvin starts, but Ricky and Yujin both cut him off.

"Hanbin is the first lead!"

"Okay, okay." Gyuvin just nods. "But are you two saying it in a friend way or is there something going on between them?"

"I don't know... is there something going on?" Ricky smirks.

Once Zhang Hao gets to the bakery, he looks at the cakes that they have on display, but doesn't see any that convince him.

"How long would it take to make a custom cake?" He asks the worker.

"If you just want to add more icing to one of the display cakes, it could take no more than twenty minutes, depending on what it is that you want. If you want to pick the flavors and it requires us to bake the cake, it'd take at least three hours since we currently have a lot of orders."

"Oh, alright." Zhang Hao looks at the cakes on display again. "I'll take this one." He points. "Could you please add some words? Please add, 'Happy Birthday, Binnie'."

It's not Hanbin's birthday today, but it just passed not too long ago. He'd have to wait a long time for his birthday next year. So why wait when he can just buy him a cake for his birthday now? His birthday was only about two months ago anyway. As for 'Binnie', he used to call him that when they were kids. He liked teasing him since Hanbin didn't like it. He said that made it sound like he was a child, which he was at the time, but he didn't like it regardless.

"Is this alright?" The lady asks him after a few minutes and Zhang Hao looks down at the cake.

"Yeah, perfect."

"I see you finally got the courage to buy him a cake." The worker smiles and puts the cake in a box, before putting the box in a bag.

"Yeah, I did." Zhang Hao nods and smiles.

Zhang Hao gets home and unlocks the door before walking in. He looks around, not seeing anyone in the living room or in the kitchen. They must all be in their rooms. He leaves the bag on the kitchen table before making his way upstairs to look for Hanbin.

"Hanbin?" He calls out for him. He then knocks on his bedroom door, but since he doesn't open it, Zhang Hao ends up going in anyway.

He hears the water running in the bathroom, which means he's in the shower. Zhang Hao sits down on Hanbin's bed to wait for him. He takes his phone out and gets distracted with a new game.

He doesn't hear when Hanbin gets out of the shower, but he finally looks up when he sees him standing in front of him. Zhang Hao's eyes widen when he sees Hanbin's shirtless. His two tattoos are visible. Zhang Hao didn't know he had tattoos. He can't help but look at them.

"Do you like what you see?" Hanbin teases him.

"Since when do you have tattoos?" He asks him, trying to hide the fact that he's blushing.

"Not too long ago. The one on my arm is pretty recent."

Zhang Hao stands up to take a closer look at the tattoos. He takes Hanbin's arm to see the tattoo, and Hanbin just looks at him with a smile. "'Don't regret what you do'." Zhang Hao reads what the tattoo says.

"I've had many regrets, but I don't want to have any anymore."

"I like it." Zhang Hao smiles and let's go of Hanbin's arm. "That'll hopefully remind you to think carefully about the decisions you make."

"Mhm." Hanbin nods.

Zhang Hao looks at his chest tattoo, then up at Hanbin, who's already looking at him. He sees his wet hair and his beautiful brown eyes with his beautiful long eyelashes. He can't help but look down at his shirtless body again, seeing some water droplets are still on his skin.

Zhang Hao quickly looks away. Why is he thinking this way? He really needs a boyfriend or something. Hanbin is starting to look more and more handsome to him each day, but he can't possibly like him.

Hanbin can't help but smirk when he notices Zhang Hao stealing glances at him. Hanbin walks towards a drawer and reaches for a shirt. "I know you like what you see, but it's kind of cold." He teases him and puts his shirt on.

"Why do you hide your tattoos? I hadn't seen them." Zhang Hao ignores his comment and pretends he wasn't checking him out, even though he clearly was.

"Well, most shirts cover my chest tattoo and I got the arm tattoo pretty recently." He reaches for a small towel to dry his hair.

"Then why don't you wear more shirts like that one? It shows both of them."

"Wow, it seems like you really like my tattoos, don't you?" Hanbin asks him, putting the towel down.

"I'm just saying... many people like guys that have tattoos. I'm just trying to help you out." He shrugs.

"How about you?"

"Huh?"

"Do you like guys that have tattoos? Or do you prefer the ones with no tattoos?" Hanbin asks him, curiously.

"I usually prefer guys that don't have tattoos." Zhang Hao tells him.

"Oh, really?"

"But now I'm questioning myself on how true or not that is." He thinks to himself, still being able to see both of Hanbin's tattoos.
