Chapter twenty-seven: The end🖤

"Y-Yeji..."

Slowly, her eyes opened, causing her retinas to be dazzled, by the light that came from a light bulb in the place.

"Ryujin?!"

Immediately her ears were filled with sobs and the voice of her sister, whom she could see clearly as her eyes adjusted to the bright light. Then she could see her sister's eyes filled with tears and couldn't understand what was going on.

"Ryujin!" She heard again and could feel that her sister hugged her, putting her face in her neck, while her body could barely move. "She woke up, she woke up!"

Ryujin gulped, as she felt her throat hurt, her sister moved away from her and she slowly looked around the place to realize, that this was not her room and she was in what seemed to be a hospital bed.

But where was Yeji?

"I can't believe you're back, I... Thank you mom, dad for-"

"Yuna..." Ryujin grabbed her sister's hand with what little strength she had and lifted her head a little to interrupt her. "Where... Where is Y-Yeji?"

Yuna frowned at her and moved a little closer to Ryujin, since she couldn't hear her clearly.

"What? What are you talking about, Ryu?"

"Where- Jesus, where is Yeji?" She asked again, this time in a slightly more audible tone of voice, as she tried to get out of bed, but it was almost impossible.

"Yeji?" Yuna asked, as she saw Ryujin's eyes begin to fill with tears. "W-What are you talking about, Ryu? I-who is Yeji?"

Ryujin gulped again as she listened to her sister, feeling a void in her chest, almost instantly, her heartbeat became faster and her body went numb.

"Yeji, Yuna. Where is Yeji?"

Ryujin asked again and tried to get up, this time she was able to support herself with her elbows on the bed, while she closed her eyes tightly, because she felt a terrible headache, but even so, she couldn't stop wondering where Yeji was.

"Ryu, please, you shouldn't move like that. You just woke up from a coma!" Yuna told her, trying to hold her shoulders, so her sister wouldn't move anymore.

At that moment Ryujin looked into her sister's eyes and a tear came out of her own eye.

"C-Coma?" She asked and Yuna nodded, as her sister was sobing.

Now that she could check out her sister a little more, she could see that Yuna had black hair, her features were younger and less defined.

What the hell was happening?

"Yes, you had an accident Ryu. Our parents, they-they..." Yuna covered her mouth to prevent her sobbing from being heard throughout the place.

Ryujin shook her head slowly, as more tears continued to fall from her eyes.

"N-No... I- Where where is Yeji, Yuna?"

"I-I don't know what you're talking about, I-"

"Yuna, where is Yeji. Damn!"

"Ryujin, wait, you could get hurt! Nurse!"

"No, Yuna, no... Where is my Yeji?!"

"Ryujin!"

"Yeji!"

"Yeji!"

Ryujin opened her eyes and abruptly sat up on the bed, panting, as her heart was about to burst out of her chest.
