vii. i haven't been to camp since you died

luke, 

it's almost march. percy's been missing for almost three months. i've tried helping annabeth find him from home. but i doubt percy jackson, the super awesome son of poseidon, would be found in the middle of new jersey. they said he might be at some roman demigod camp? i'm honestly not sure.

charlie asked me out. for valentine's day, we took a train to the city. we ate italian food and i took him to a beach on the long island sound, near camp. i haven't been to camp since you died. 

i'm scared that if i go, everything will come back. all the memories and trauma i tried to move on from would just appear again. i'm scared that everywhere i look, it'll just be the dying faces of you and of silena. 

gods, i feel terrible. i should break up with charlie. everything he does reminds me of you. 

i miss you so much.
