Noelle and Heath approached the Gulf of Taranto to find Donovan, Amara, and Zander already there.
"What is that thing?" Zander asked, pointing upwards to the creature before them.
"It's a sea monster!" Noelle shouted so she'd be heard over his roaring.
"Who'd we hear scream?" Heath asked loudly.
"Amara! She was the first one to find it!" Donovan said. When Amara heard the loud roar of the vicious sea monster, she ran as fast as she could to the Gulf, halting when she saw the size of the monster, thus screaming due to fear.
"Well, what do we do?!" Zander asked.
"I'll take care of it!" Noelle yelled over the roaring once more. She slowly approached the sea monster.
"Hey!" Noelle shouted, gaining it's attention,
"Calm down. I don't know why you're behaving like this, but it's alright." Noelle said calmly. The creatures of the sea had always been kind to her. They had never acted like this in her time of being intact with her powers. Noelle slowly inched closer to the sea monster, hoping to calm it down with the touch of her hand. The sea monster, however, did not like how close she was getting. He let out a loud screech and swung his tail around, colliding with Noelle's stomach. She screamed out as she flew through the air, landing a few feet away from the others, on her back. She coughed and groaned, holding onto her stomach. Heath was about to make his way over to her, but Donovan beat him to it. He knelt down beside her as she continued to groan in pain.
"Didn't work!" Noelle shouted.
"You didn't try hard enough!" Zander responded. He then rubbed his hands together as he did before to get the electricity going.
"Alright, baby. Let's go!" Zander shouted. Lightning struck out of his fingers, striking the sea monster. Instantly, both Zander and the sea monster get electrocuted from the water. Heath grabbed hold of a stick and lightly shoved Zander back far enough to stop the flow of electricity. Zander then stumbled and fell back into the sand.
"Ow." Zander muttered where he lay. Amara set her bag down on the sand, took her sword out of the bag, and hopped onto the sea monster's tail that was previously waving in the air. She began to climb up the slimy sea monster but slipped once she reached its neck, causing her to fall into the water. Donovan ran to the water to help Amara out safely, meanwhile, Noelle military crawled over to an unresponsive Zander. She set her foot into the water and placed her hand on his shoulder, healing him quickly before standing back up.
"You just going to stand there?" Noelle asked, turning back to Heath.
"Once I see that I'm needed, I'll do something." Heath said. Noelle sighed and stepped into the water, a few feet away from the sea monster. She stepped deeper into the water, making it a good distance in. She used her hands to bring the water upwards. She emerged from the water on top of a wave, surfing around the sea monster. She conjured up some water from her wave, creating a trident for herself. Heath sighed, deciding it was time for him to do something. He used his ability to turn himself invisible, walking over to Amara's bag of weapons, and rifling through. He eventually found a weapon that felt nice enough to hold in his hands. He steadied his aim and threw it into the neck of the sea monster. It cried out in pain, before falling deep into the water. The impact made Noelle unsteady atop her wave of water.
"Whoa!" Noelle exclaimed, before falling backward into the water. Heath waited for Noelle to come out of the water, but she never did. Heath grew worried and ran to the water, slipping off his shoes as fast as he could and swam over to where he last saw her. Right before he reached her, Noelle emerged from the water once more. Heath laughed when he saw green seaweed resting on her head. She spat water from her mouth in the direction Heath wasn't standing in as Heath moved the seaweed from her head.
