"I don't know why, but my brain always makes me think that snow is soft," you said as you looked out of the window next to you to watch the falling white flakes. You let out a short laugh as you turned your head to the other side again. "But as soon as I touch it with my hands, I feel like the cold is burning me. It's kind of disappointing..."
You didn't know why you'd been talking like that for a while. It was just pointless rambling anyway, and it wasn't as if he was really listening to you.
Maybe that was the reason. He couldn't listen to you or talk to you since he was sleeping, and you didn't just want to be trapped by the emptiness of this monotone room. Your eyes looked at Caeser's still figure in front of you, which simply lay motionless in front of you and had the calm aura of an ordinary sleeping man. A couple of people from the Speedwagon Foundation had picked you both up after you were both badly injured and needed medical attention.
"I wonder what JoJo is doing right now," you rambled as your fingers brushed over the ring on your dominant hand. "He's probably in trouble again as usual. But at least Lisa Lisa is with him. I think the two of them will be fine."
Your words were only followed by silence.
Your gaze turned outside again. You could hear the wind whistling through the window. "The doctor said that your left leg will no longer be functional," you finally said, remembering a few moments earlier when you were told the news. Your grip on the ring tightened. "One of the rocks apparently shattered the bones completely and severed a nerve. I know you..." You hesitated for a moment. "...you would have rather died with honor by saving JoJo's lip ring instead. I'm sorry for being so selfish..."
I hope you forgive me.
You heard the door on your right open, and you looked wearily at the doctor, having risen from your seat out of respect to greet him.
He just nodded back with a small smile. "You can just lay down since you should be resting. Even just sitting can get exhausting after a while," the middle-aged man joked, pushing the slipped glasses on his nose up a little further with his hand.
"It's all right. I don't mind," you said, not really sure if you were ready to hear any more bad news.
The doctor coughed lightly into his fist. "All right then." He answered and then looked at your companion. "You shouldn't worry too much about him. His condition is stable, and stress should be avoided in your current state."
You just nodded silently, not making any promises you couldn't keep. You continued to wait quietly as you watched the man take a letter out of his white coat to hold it out to you. "I'm supposed to give you this," he said and then said goodbye to you with a few final sentences. He was probably just about to visit more patients.
You opened the envelope and pulled out a plain white piece of paper with just three things written on it: a time, a place, and a date.
You sighed and looked over at the blond man with a slight smile. "Looks like I have to go out for a while. Don't miss me so much while I'm gone."

The final battle between the Pillar Men and the Hamon fighters was about to begin. Tonight, it would be decided who would emerge victorious and who would lose this battle and thus finally decide how this century-long story would end.
It was possible thanks to Lisa, Lisa, because through her, the two sides had come to an agreement. Though she had to be held captive to make sure that no one was breaking their word.
A new fire was kindled in JoJo. He now had a new motivation to fight, and that was to avenge the pain of those close to him and pay them back twice as bad.
"Just as I thought, there's no bomb at all," JoJo laughed gleefully, remembering back to the threat she made to the pillar men. "Lisa Lisa, you're deceptive even under pressure!" he said playfully as he reached for the Superaja in the case and dangled the stone from his hand.
The Joestar's gaze wiped back to his trainer's suitcase for a moment, and without any shame, he began to rummage through it. What else could you expect from a guy like him? "Hmm, maybe I should bring you a fresh pair of panties, huh?"
He carelessly threw one shirt after another on the floor in search of her underwear, but his attention was drawn to something else when he heard something heavy hit the floor. He spotted a silver picture frame. "Huh? What are these photos?" he wondered aloud and carefully picked it up to get a better look at it.
He blinked for a few seconds, "It's Grandma Erina?!" he exclaimed in surprise when he recognized the woman in the picture. "Why does Lisa Lisa have these photos?" he wondered aloud, but his voice caught in his throat when he looked at the second photo on the other side.
There you were with three other people plus a baby in your arms, and his eyes widened even more as he read the date of the picture out loud. "May 1889?!" It took his brain a second to connect the dots, but it was clear as day. This picture showed Speedwagon, his grandma Erina, and you from 50 years ago. "That can't be. How is that even possible?" he wondered aloud.
Once again, he realized how little he actually knew about you, and he also didn't know much about Lisa Lisa as it seemed. "What does this mean? And why does Lisa Lisa have these photos in the first place?"
His eyebrows furrowed, and his fist clenched at his side when he was reminded of the scene in the abandoned hotel where he encountered you and Caeser. He didn't know what had happened, the situation wasn't explained to him since there wasn't time, and now there were these photos...
"Ahh! I'm sick of these secrets!" he exclaimed angrily, running his free hand through his hair in annoyance.
He wanted to know once and for all what was going on with you.
