"The saddest word
in the whole wide world
is the word almost. He was almost in love.
She was almost good for him.
He almost stopped her.
She almost waited.
He almost lived.
They almost made it."

Difficulty Level- 50/50We were at the parking area of Jun's bar. Not that much of people since it's Monday night. Not that much of cars as well.
I was sitting behind my pick up truck, Jun jun standing beside me- beer bottles in our hands, not really saying anything to each other.
Nakailang gabi na ba akong tumatambay dito?
Ang tyaga din nitong "mag-Mine" sa amin ni Ronaliza.
Gagawin kong kumpare to pag nagka-baby na kami ni Roni-boi.
Then I suddenly remember- nagpaplano na akong magka-baby kami, e, I'm not even sure when I can call her "Baby" again."Jun Pare... I'm ok here. You can just go... get lost!" I said laughing, but honestly, I appreciate this guy. Kahit madalas kaming magkapikunan.
When Jelai took Roni away, I decided to just stay here at the car park, probably for a couple more minutes before I go home. Wala rin naman akong uuwian. Roni's with Jelai and Little Lana is with Tita Marite.
"Ok lang pare. Natutuwa talaga ako pag nakikita kang ganito", to which I threw to him the beer cap that I have with me.
"Have they reached home?", I asked, glancing at him briefly.
Jun looked at me, his face suddenly serious. "Yeah... Jelai messaged about five minutes ago"
I nodded my head, then asked him, without really looking at him, "Is she ok?"
"Tingin mo?"
I just took another gulp and looked away. Then I saw that familiar audi and that blue bmw.
"Nagtawag ka talaga ng back up""Baka iyakan mo na naman ako e"
"Kailan ako umiyak?"
"Gusto mo talagang sagutin ko yan?"
"Ano na namang problema mo, Benjamin?", Yuan said, as he was coming down of his Audi. Hindi sya masyadong prepared. I saw him opening his boot and taking out a small chair from there, like he's preparing for a long session, like what we had the days before.
"Pinaiyak ko ulit yung utol mo. Pwede mamya na yung suntok... masakit pa yung panga ko e"
He looked at me, then shook his head. "Kung hindi ka sana nang-iistorbo gabi gabi para manghila ng kasama, malamang tinamaan ka naman sa akin"
"Ang tanong alam ba nya?", Tonsy asked, taking a bottle from the bucket that Jun brought outside.
"Probably not... Akala nya nakikipag-date ako"
"Ay baliw!", Jun jun said, laughing.
"Mas baliw yung utol nya"
"Sabi sayo malakas pa rin topak nun e. Ikaw lang... Ano, ayawan na? Pwede mo pang isoli. Kasi after...", he took a pause, looked at me, grinned, then said, "no return, no exchange na, Pare"
"Hindi ko isosoli. Baliw ba ako?"
"Why don't you tell her?", Tonsy asked, taking a seat from a chair that he also pulled out from his car. Ibang klase din tong mga kumpare ko- hindi masyadong prepared.
"Tell her for what? So she can find an excuse to schedule my dates with Bea? Tsk! I should just be happily sleeping all day after an all night's work, and wait for her to come home at night, or probably pick her up from work- but look at what we're doing? We're playing hide and seek just so she'd think that I'm giving my past a chance. Ang sakit din nya no?"
