I asked Jelai to sit down. I was brushing her hair, really excited to see her reaction later.

"Did you bring the dress we bought yesterday?"

"Yes...but Sis, I have a confession to make. I returned it and asked for a change in colour. Para akong ikakasal sa puti. But don't worry, it's still the same dress, just in beige"

"Beige should be fine."

"You're not happy..." she asked, and I wanted to scold myself for not being able to school my emotion. "I brought something, and I hope it would make up for the change in colour"

"Pagbuhulin ko pa kayong dalawa", Jelai said, laughing at him.

"Pwede pong pahiram ng girlfriend ko?"

"Bakit? Gagawin mo na bang Misis? Kung hindi pa, forget it"

And I smiled as I see Benjamin scratched his head.

"Jelai, give Benjamim a chance. Malay mo naman may pa-surprise si Mayor", I said, smiling. I knew Jelai was watching us, probably trying really hard not to tell me the secret she's been keeping for days.

"Yes, Love?", I asked, looking at the guy.

"Jelai... pwede po?", he asked, and I smiled at how hard they are trying to keep their faces straight.

"Benjamin!", I said, hitting him on his arm.
