Chapter 30

Matteo's Pov

On the plane all l could think about was the call from Bella l knew something was wrong and l could feel it in my bones

The way she spoke to me was like someone who was saying goodbye and l couldn't lose her not after we lost do much time together

"She'll be fine dad " Leone said next to me but l could see he was reassuring both of us

"I can't believe we finally get to see them after 2 years" Leonardo said and l couldn't believe it at well because just yesterday l was reassuring myself that l have to try and live my life without them but now we'll finally be together

"I just can't get over how her voice seemed l just hope they're okay" l said and buried my head into my hand

"We can only hope dad" Elonzo said

We arrived in America a few hours later and we immediately went to the location the phone signal gave us

The apartment was at the worst neighborhood l've ever seen and l was disgusted , how dare she bring my children to this crap

I broke the door and the inside was horrible and l instantly heard footsteps

"Dad" l heard my boy Alex say and l instantly lit up

"Alex" l went towards him and he took a step back and l frowned

"Where's Bella" he asked

"What do you mean, she lives here with you right?" Elonzo said looking as horrified as l felt

"She's not in our room and what are you guys doing here" he said and the boys looked at me seemingly as shocked as l was by the way Alex seemed to not care about our arrival

"She must be somewhere around here" Leonardo said

"We are here for you guys" Leone said

Alex instantly ran to another room and when he came out he looked angry

"Where the hell is my sister" he said coming towards me angrily

"We just arrived Alex and we don't know where she is " Leonardo said

"No no no oh my God no" he said while he paced around

"Alex what's wrong" l asked him sternly and he continued pacing

"Talk to us dammit Alex" Elonzo said and the room Alex was in opened

Selena honestly looked terrible and her eyes widened when she saw us

"She's gone mom and she doesn't have any friends" Alex said looking towards Selena and my gaze instantly turned to his direction

"What" Elonzo said

"Where the hell is my daughter Selena " l glared at her direction

"You gave us away in case you've forgotten and enough of this shit l've got to find my sister"Alex said and turned to walk away but l immediately grabbed his arm

"We are going to find Bella but after we find her l want you to tell me what the hell is your issue with us "l said to him and he gave me a dirty look teenagers

We looked everywhere around the neighborhood but they seemed to be no trace of her and it was quite clear Selena was neglecting the kids

While looking for Bella l got to know that she hasn't said a word to anyone in years but somehow she talked to me yesterday

When we got back to Selena's apartment we had already lost hope of finding her and l was convinced someone had kidnapped her
