It's been a long ride writing this book and I know most people hate cliffhangers but I think this was a great way to make room for the next book. I started the Disappearance of Simon Gallagher in March of 2023 with my friend Maria. Maria and I wrote the first three chapters together until she decided that she wanted to focus on her own book. I didn't let her quitting stop me from writing. I rewrote the first three chapters and I continued writing. I just can't believe that these character's stories are coming to an end. Friends have asked me if these characters are based on anyone and the truth is that some of them are and some of them are not. At the start, Summer was based on me but then I realized I'm nothing like Summer. Max, Simon and Lily were also based off friends at first. I love most of the characters I created but some of them make me so angry I want to throw the book across the room. This is the first novella in a 3-4 book series. The next book is called "Is She Really, Dead?"
