Alone I sit, with screen aglow,
Words sent out, but answers slow.
A silent void, a deafening dread,
Left on read, my message unread.

The cursor blinks, in mocking tease,
No reply comes, my heart unease.
Was it something I said, or didn't say?
In this digital realm, emotions sway.

Time ticks by, each second a sting,
Left in limbo, a lonely thing.
Did they forget, or choose to ignore?
Left on read, longing for more.

But in this silence, I find my voice,
Though unanswered, I still rejoice.
For in the quiet, I learn to see,
My worth not defined by a reply decree.

So I'll wait, with patience and grace,
Knowing my value, in any space.
For being left on read may cause a frown,
But my worth won't waver, I won't drown.
