It's the weekend my only available time to see my baby I take night er Shifts and cam Is a dentist
We live together tho
Lately all I've wanted cam to do is rub my face I say baby can you rub my face

Cam: ofcourse luv but question why

Lil: to be honest luv my jaw hurts and when you rub it. It feels better

Cam: ok luv 2 things you know I want to look at your face and teeth my second question is how often is it hurting

Lil: it's been. Hurting for months but recently it's been worse but i don't think it's anything it's my tmj you were the one who said I have tmj

Cam: ok luv I still wanna look ok so put your head in my lap baby girl and I'm going to feel around and move your cheeks

Lil: ok but it hurts to open alot

Cam: it's ok I rub her jaw and move her cheeks out the way I first noticed how straight her teeth were
2nd I see the back of her mouth and bumps were forming meaning her wisdom are due any day now so ok baby your due for your wisdom teeth so if you are ok with it every weekend I want to monitor your wisdom teeth because they can get infected quickly

Lil: oh ok I'm ok with that as long as you keep rubbing my face and you take care of me when I do have to get them out

3 weeks later
I'm in the middle of treating a gun shot and my wisdom teeth are killing me my eyes are teary last weekend cam forgot to check and Tuesday the pain got bad my gums were tender and swollen I couldn't bite down and I still can't and the pain is getting worse I'm walking to my to the break room and I get dizzy shit I say a infection just hit my blood stream I scream help Next thing I know is I'm on a Gurney with cam sitting in a chair next to me he says baby you awake I nod my face is cold and tight I feel around it's 2 ice packs on each side of My jaw I smile and say I look ugly right now stop looking at me. He says first off your the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on
And 2 the reason for why your in the hospital it's my fault I forgot to check last week but your wisdom teeth developed  a infection and today it hit your blood stream so after you are cleared I'm taking you to my dental office and I have to pull them out today ok love

I nod at cam but I start to cry the pain randomly  hits me  so bad I just cry and try to rip of my ice pack but cam isn't allowing me to he grabs my hand and says baby stop I know how bad it hurts and the ice feels uncomfortable but it's the only way to prevent swelling I just keep crying it hurts I can't bite down because if I did it will hurt more it's so uncomfortable I move around trying to feel a comfortable spot and I don't but cam sees how bad it is so he gets on the bed and sit behind me and pushes my head on to his shoulder and rubs my hair I move my eyes so I can see him I say it hurts so bad he looks at my teary eyes and say I know baby I know I deal with cases like this all the time babygirl but not my girlfriend so this is different I'm feeling her emotions radiate off her into me I'm worried all I wanna do is help so say baby girl so don't be mad at me but I used to have a dental unit here and I got permission from the hospital chief I can take your wisdom teeth out today

Lily: looks up and smiles yea I'm ok with that

Cam : ok good we'll take them out today
I grab a pair of scrubs and Close the curtains and change into scrubs
I say baby girl how this is gonna work is as we speak  your surgery room is being set up
So what ill do is carry you to the surgery room and give u a I've and take them out then take care of you

30 minutes later
I carry her to the surgery suite and say baby I need give you a iv sharp pinch

Ow she said

I say I'm so sorry luv count down from 100 love
She started to count and  drag her numbers so I say I love you baby girl go to sleep when you wake up it will be better

I start by numbing her then I open her gums and remove the teeth I do that 4 times and place gauze

The started to wake up and plays with her lip I say baby no that isn't good I grab her hand and carry her to the recovery room while she sleeps and I clean up I put on a set of sweats and come back and kiss her forehead She says I have a boyfriend and I say baby girl. I am your boyfriend and she's like no. You're not and like. Yes, I am she's like I have a boyfriend. Yes, you do I say while trying not to laugh? I pick her up and kiss her and carry her to the car after an hour of recovery. The medicine is wearing off slowly which is expected I get I take her home and I put her in the bed and rap an ice packe. Round her face and take care of her for the rest of the day.
