The remaining people of Danaar assembled in the thousands to aid the armoured warriors as best we could. Several months passed and the grip of terror that the pale skinned raiders had over our world began to relent.
Our allies were not without losses, but the giant warriors assured our people that victory was immanent. The campaign was destined to end with one final strike that would cripple the raiders indefinitely. Our saviours called for reinforcements from their fortress that hung in the heavens; Angel's Rain.
At first our people believed they were landing the entire fortress on Danaar, but it soon became evident that something was amiss.
The continent of Avis was showered with debris as Angel's Rain plummeted towards the surface. The resulting shockwave levelled mountains, buried cities and stole an uncountable amount of life.
What remained of the fighting force was severely crippled. All life on Danaar was pushed to the brink.
The warrior knew virtually nothing of the nature of the horror that befell their fortress. Two words escaped disaster.
"Warmaster. Betrayal."
