"this is getting too risky" i whisper into alisons ear as we watched our four friends say goodbye to ezra, we could easily get caught out here. i shake my head getting rid of all my thoughts. i try to inch a little closer to hear the four girls better but instead i stand on a piece of stick making it snap in half. loudly.

"alison?" emily calls out as they walked closer to the bush

"fuck" i mutter under my breath as i quickly follow alison through the bushes "this way" alison whispers as the four girls were running close behind us

the two girls ran into the hastings backyard with the four girls running in shortly after "arabella?" aria asks as i turn around smiling at my sister and my bestfriends

"did you miss us?" alison asks with a smile "it was you in ravenswood. wasn't it?" aria says 

"look, we don't have much time" alison says as she looks through the bushes "it's still not safe for us to be here" i tell them as i look at the same thing ali was looking at

"please, don't leave again" emily begs "we want to come home, but you have to help us" alison tells them "why? who are you afraid of?" spencer asks

"remember what i told you at the hospital hanna?" alison says "that was really you?" hanna asks in shock

i gasp as i hear footsteps in she bushes "shh" i mime as i place a finger to my lips. i look at alison who nods her head at me signaling we need to go "be safe" i tell the girls before quickly following alison through the bushes 

"that was a close one" she whispers into my ear as we watch ezra talk to the girls "we need to go. now" alison says as ezra looks in our direction "im gonna talk to aria tonight" i quietly tell her as we walk through the bushes "we'll wait till everyone asleep" alison states

"are you gonna see emily tonight?" i ask "i hope so" she tells me

i let out a huff as i wipe the dirt off my shirt as i got to the roof of the house, i swing my shoes in my hand as i tip toe over to arias bedroom window, quietly lifting it open before climbing into the room 

"whos there?" aria calls out in fear  "jesus, thats one heavy window" i huff as i throw myself onto her bed "bella!!" aria gasps as she engulfs me into a hug "i've missed you" i sniffle as i hug her "me too" she cries as i pull away from the hug

"it feels so weird being back home" i tell her as i wipe away her tears "you'll be back here soon. i promise" aria says as she holds out her pinky, i smile as i interlock my pinky with hers "have you talked to jason?" i ask as i pick the polish off my nails "em keeps trying to call him. he doesn't answer much" aria says 

"got it" i slightly chuckle "i really miss him you know" i tell her "yeah? what was it like" she asks 

"it was like hell leaving him here but alison said it was for the best" i tell her "he always asks me about you" aria admits "what?" i ask in shock, hes been asking about me?

"he always asks if i've heard from you or if you've come home yet" she says "i wish i could of told you we where together" i tell her 

"why didn't you?" she asks "i thought you'd call the cops or something. you made it pretty clear you didn't like him on that night"

"i didn't know he was mystery man, plus i know what its like to love someone older than you now" she smiles as she places a hand on top of mine "i'd watch out aria. ezra isn't who you think he is" i tell her as i slide my hand away from hers. god i feel so guilty not telling her but she needs to find out the truth herself

"what do you mean?" aria asks in confusion "he's not telling you everything" i tell her as i get off the bed, flattening my shirt down "please bella" she begs "tell me" 

"you need to find out the truth yourself" i tell her "if your smart enough you'll work it out pretty fast" i say as i walk over to the window "mum and dad miss you" she says as she runs over to me "im pretty sure mike does too" she chuckles as i climb out the window 

"make it safe for me to come home because i miss them too" i tell her before walking over to ladder i used to climb onto the roof "be safe!!" she said as i got to the end of the ladder "your gonna need to put that back in the backyard" i tell her before i take one last glance at the house.
