That was weird. Before I could even say anything to her, she was gone. Dang, oh well. I hope she gets home safely, not like I care or anything. Just for her sake. I got back onto my bike and started it when I got a text from Donovan.

Already? That's great. I took off onto the road, I really enjoyed these cool night rides where the wind hits against my skin as I ride. Not even a few minutes later, I arrived back at my place to see Donovan and Logan waiting outside for me

"Where were you? You have been gone for so long." Logan asked

"That's none of your business." I stated with a glare, reminding him who's in charge here, and he quickly quiet down.

"Let's head in." Donovan said, already turning to leave

We walked up to our side of the mansion and into our open living room where we were last night. This is our usual place to come speak about anything. We have an office, but no one is allowed in there besides me, Dono, and my father

"So what's up?" I asked, resting one arm over the head of the couch and the other on my lap

"We found out that someone actually owes us a huge sum of money." Dono started

"The location is not so clear, and neither is the background of this person." Logan added

"I see. How long has it been since borrowed?"

"From 10 years back." Logan states

"10 years! How are we only finding out about this now?"

"There was not much information from this person, but with the information we do have, it says: His name is Henry, born in North Carolina but moved around to different counties and states until settling down here and found a job. He had a wife and a child. Something probably happened in his life because he got fired from work and started getting himself into drugs and other things that shouldn't even be mentioned at this point."

Dono read out the information he had for us, but as he proceeds to read, you can see he gets more and more uncomfortable with the way things are going.

"We really don't have much time to go on here." I mumbled, thinking out loud to see if I could get a clearer path of this situation

"Your father wants us to track them down." Logan pipped up

"You spoke to my father?" I asked, slightly agitated by that

"No, I didn't. The message was just sent on by his bodyguard." Logan sighed

"I see."

No one actually sees my father, and I'm included. My mother does, but even so, it's only when they go to bed, and that's it, and maybe sometimes when she cooks, she'll take it up for him. He is a strange yet smart man who has eyes all over the city. Sometimes, I really hate him, but neither can I blame him.

"Alright, we'll stay on the low for now until we have more information. Then we ride out." I told them, getting up from my seat

"Yes, boss." They both replied

I nodded and made my way to my room and into the connected bathroom to have a shower. The cool water hitting against my body hurt like hell, but I knew if I had a shower with hot water, it'd be worse. Once I was done, I grabbed my clothes and was about to put it in the washing until I remembered something. Sliding my hand into my pants pockets, I left a soft material. I pulled it out and saw it was Katleen's scrunchy. I'm sure she even forgot about this. I slid the scrunchy onto my wrist and continued sorting myself out, putting on black sweatpants and a grey t-shirt. I made my way out and towards the kitchen area where I always have food waiting because of the servents the cool and leave food.
