5am flights

The next night was windy, but cold fresh snow had fallen and it was a perfect night for katherine to hurt. She had a specific prey in mind.

Jacob was no longer of use to her, he was a lose end and katherine hated lose ends. So she climbed in his window.

She vamp speeded to his side. She smelled his blood as it flowed through his vains. She was ready to kill when she was pushed against a wall.

"Hello katherine." a familiar voice said

"So Klaus has finally caught me. She said

"He'll be very happy when I deliver you to him. He said.

"You really underestimate me." she said, choking as he squeezed her neck.

Before he could speak she had ripped out his heart and decided to leave it as a present for Leo when he woke up. Oh wait she killed him too.

Finally she could get her meal. She was tired of blood bags but didn't want to blow her cover.

First she woke him up then compelled him not to scream but she wanted to see the fear in his eyes as she ripped open his throat.

"Mhhhhhh this is the most satisfied you've ever made me.' she said, chuckling to herself semi reminiscing about his awful skills in bed.

She Cleaned Herself up in his bathroom. Then she headed to the hotel she was staying at to cover her tracks. She had pretended to move away with Elena before the events could occur because they would be suspect 1.

She looked over at Elena sleeping so peacefully. Her chest moving up and down. It was so human she didn't get to appreciate her daughter that often for just being alive.

She decided to get some rest. They were heading back to Bulgaria for the rest of the school year. The flight would be early.

She already shipped most of their stuff down but it wouldn't arrive for a couple days. Lucky they left some stuff there during the summer.

5am

"Elena sweetie wake up." katherine said

"Mhhh ugh." she groaned

"We need to get ready, the plane is at 7."

"Do you want me to vamp speed get you ready?" katheirne said as a threat

"NO NO IM UP!" she said jumping out of bed

"Good,"

They raced over to jfk airport. Surprisingly the line was very long till she realized it was February break.

Elena groggily walked through the airport.

The airport was mostly quite so they got through security pretty quickly.

"What gate are we?" elena asked half asleep

"Gate 12." she said

"Ugh thats so far." elena said sleepily

"I know i know your tired but well be on the plane soon and you can sleep." katherine said

They walked for a little while

Gate 7... gate 8 ... gate 9 .... Gate 10.... Gate 11

"Gate 12 here we are elena.' katherine said

"We board in 20 minutes though." elena said

"Why don't we just sit down ." katherine said

They sat down and almost immediately elena fell asleep on katherines shoulder

Then an old lady walked by

"You and your sister look so much alike." she said sweetly

"Shes my daughter." she said with a bit of a laugh

"Oh my mistake your both very pretty." she said

Then she walked away

10 mins later

"Elena were boarding." she said waking elena up gently

"Okay." elena said

Then they boarded the first class. The seat turned into beds and once elena buckled in and put the seat into a bed she fell asleep instantly.

12 hours later

Elena woke up refreshed

They hoped of the plane and headed home which was 2 hours out into the countryside

"Were home." katherine said

"Wow it's been a few months." she said

"Okay bring them in." katherine said to the men she had compelled.

Many men brought in all their bags into the house.

"I've missed being able to use my compulsion so freely." katherine said to elena

"I know mom, it's kinda scary they just do whatever you ask." she said

"It's not like they wouldnt do it for girls like us anyway."katherine said

Elena rolled her eyes at her moms comment

She then walked inside the house
