Mrunali walked down the hospital corridor, her footsteps echoing in the bustling sound of the busy hospital. Her face was etched with a deep frown, indicating that something was weighing heavily on her mind. Amidst the constant chatter of doctors, nurses, and patients, she seemed lost in her own thoughts, as if oblivious to the chaos around her. The fluorescent lights overhead cast a cool glow on her face, making her complexion appear paler than usual. She seemed to be in a hurry, her steps quick and purposeful, as if she had an urgent task to complete.

" This is not, how people started their first day, Miss Mrunali!!" A playful voice exclaimed which stopped her racing session in mid.
When she turned around, she met with a set of familiar feline eyes.

"Naksh!!" She exclaimed.

"Yes, the one and only in this universe." A mischievous smile spread across his chiselled features, adding an extra layer of charm to his already handsome appearance.

"What are you doing here?" She folded her hand to her chest while raising her eyebrows.

He pointed his face before saying,
"Oh! This Handsome Man, Naksh Agnihotri is here for your help, Miss Wagh."

She squinted her eyes, "For me?"

"Yes, I'm here to sign your documents. Did you forget it's your first day?" He exclaimed the last line while checking her up and down.

"I know, but..."
"Then why are you looking like a stray puppy!!, who plays Holi with muddy waters?" He ended his sentence with a teasing chuckle.

Mrunali hit his arm and exclaimed, "YOU are talking too much. And the second thing is this is all because of YOUR BROTHER, who splashes water on me on the way to the hospital."

Naksh couldn't control himself and burst into a fit of laughter, while Mrunali puffed her cheeks in anger.

" Dever Jii, Don't laugh too much, or you will get wrinkles at a young age."

Naksh stop laughing, and holds Mrunali's shoulder before speaking, "My sweet sister-in-law, Don't you think Dever ji is so old-fashioned for this charming young man? Call me something rocking which suits my dashing personality."

Mrunali pushed his hand away from her shoulder,
"You are really full of yourself and by the way, I'm running late. So meet you soon, DEVER JI." She completes her sentence while making her way to the changing room.

She giggled a little when she heard Naksh shouting,
"This word is unfair for my handsome face."

Mrunali was absently humming a tune while she reviewed the document and ID card she had received from the head office. Suddenly, she collided with something hard.
