Gauri was standing right in front of Anika's room, not knowing how to face her, not knowing how will she react l and not knowing what state she is in
'come on Gauri don't run away and face your fear' she said to herself as her shivering hand reached for the knob
She tightly held the knob while holding her shivering hand with the other, not knowing what she will face Gauri took a deep breath and opened the door
Here eyes widened as all she saw in her room was darkness the only light was coming from the hallway through the door that she opened
"K-kon?" A shivering voice was heard from the corner of the room as her eyes adjusted to the dark she looked at the source of that voice, she can only make out a silhouette of a person who seemed like her sister
"Anika jiji?" She called while stepping forward
"Agey mat badna!" That figure answer while holding something in her hand as if she will throw at her
"Kon ho tum?" She asked again as her voice shivers
"Jiji mai ga-" she was about say her name when Anika shouted "AGEY MAT BADNA!" and threw the thing in her hand
Just before the thing (a flower vase) hit gauri Shivanya caught it
"Miss. Anika mainey apko chezey na phekney key barey aapko samajhya tha na" she said placing the vase on near by table
"Paar Shivanya ey ladki" she said
"Anika ji yeh aapki bhen gauri hai" Shivanya said turning on the light
Gauri who was shocked by the incident took a while to get back to her senses and look at her sister
The silhouette which is now standing in a full lot room looked nothing like her sister, her face is similar to Anika but, her condition was not she was reduced to half her size, she was so thin that even her bones started to appear her eyes have lost their spark instead they look like two dark hopeless pits and hair was so messy as if no one combed her hair in years
Anika's this condition brought tears to her eyes
Meanwhile Anika was studying Gauri from top to bottom as if she is recalling what her little sister looked like, Anika took few steps towards her until they were face to face
She placed her hand on now sobbing Gauri
"Gauri" she called as Tears swell up in Anika's eyes as she recognised her sister, and pulled gauri into a hug both crying
This crying session lasted for 30 min while Shivanya was standing in the corner looking at her mom and mausi
Finally Anika broke the hug and cupped Gauri's face wipping her tears
"Kyu chali gayi thi tum mujey chodkey itney din?" She asked
"Pagal thi issliyeh" she said tears rolling down her eyes
"Thik hai gayi toh gayi aab wapas bhi ayi hona ..sab log agai?"
"Ha..jiji sab loog agai mai, Omkara ji, Rud-"
"Shivaay bhi?" She asked shocking Gauri who just looked at Shivanya
"Bolo Gauri Shi-shivaay bhi agai hai na?" She asked again shaking her
"Um..Miss. Anika? Mr.Shivaay abhi aa nahi pai" Shivanya stepped in
"Kyu?" She asked
"Woh Aa nai pai issliyeh toh vuno ney baki subko bheja" she answered taking Anika's hand and making her sit on the bed
"Mujey Shivaay chaiyeh.."
"Aajaengey..jaisey sub loog ayeh haina waisey Shivaay bhi aajaengey..challo khana khai?" She asked taking out the plate from the tray she brought earlier
Gauri was looking back and forth between Anika and Shivanya when Shivanya signalled her to take a seat
"Nai" Anika said rejecting the food
"Arey kyu nai? Dekho Aaj kitni achi curry bani hai paneer masala hai" she said with a smile
"Aur Aaj apna mujey aapki bhen ki kahani sunai ey" she added sitting beside her
"Gauri ki story?" Anika asked with excitement and started to talk about Gauri while Shivanya feed her, Anika was including Gaurin into the conversation who can only nod her head in response or say yes aur no
After feeding Anika, she gave her medicine and putted her to sleep and left the room
As soon as Gauri and Shivanya came far away from Anika's room, Gauri said "tum meri behen ko ek andeyrey kamrey mai band karahi ho?"
"Nice to meet you too Mausi" Shivanya said ignoring her and pushing the tray forward
"Answer my question Shivanya..how can do this?" She asked pulling her back
"Mausi i don't want to have this conversation with right now" Shivanya replied
"You have to..how can you treat your own mother like this treating her like an animal which you lock up and feed only when you wish while also giving her sedatives..what kind of a daughter are you" she said not letting her go
"How can I treat my mother like this?" She repeated those words
"I treat her like this because I care about her" she said taking back her hand with force
"Mai vunki aisey treat isliye karthi hu kyuki Mai chathi hu woh apney aapko hurt na karey...woh yeh yaad na karey hi Vunka Shivaay nahi hai aur suicide ki koshish na karey..." Shivanya said trying hard to not to shout
"And don't act like you care about my mother, jabki you left her when she needed you the most when she was slowly losing her mental sanity, when she was crying,begging us to bring you back and if you actually care you would have came back when we, when I wrote to you..but you didn't so don't just act like you care about my mother...." Shivanya said in a low and hatred filled voice she turned not wanting to countinue this conversation and started to leave when she turned back to her mausi
"Mainey aapko par dadi aur badey dadi dadu key liyeh bulaya hai...toh chup chap apni saas, sasur aur dadi sey Milo aur jaha sey ayeh ho vahi cheley jao...meri person family matter mai dhakal andazi maat Karo and one more thing please let this conversation stay here don't make a problem out of it" she said and left
