its valentines day
its been a month since you left for home
i miss you
as i held my breathe and got out of bed
i imagined the many couples id see
on my way to school
at school
on my way home
everywhere
i wish that it was us instead of them.
i had the longest day at school today
if only i had proper sleep the night before
but the days have been getting longer
the nights have been feeling lonelier
everything has never felt so heavy before
i came home to the most beautiful surprise waiting for me, you gave me a cake.
but not just any cake, my favourite, red velvet.
it came in a explosion gift box, with the mini roses scattering around and the mini butterflies flying all over the place.
it felt as though i was living in a fairy tale, i feel so very happy and grateful to have met you in this lifetime, so very thankful to be able to call you mine.
