Calix~

The week practically flew by, and it's now Friday morning. We haven't stopped working since Tuesday, and lucky we didn't because we found some information on Henry. We know where he is going to be, and we are going out for him tonight. There's just some other stuff I got to take care of first before I do that.

Today is also Donovan's mother's death day. It has been 3 years for her now. He's going to visit her grave with Katleen later. Katleen also hasn't shown up to school for the whole week, but I'm sure it's because she was sick or something. I was sitting on the school benches by field where I usually sit in the morning. At least I can clear my mind before a long day ahead of me.

"Oh my! Katleen! Finally!" I heard a familiar voice scream

I turned back to see Evelyn run and hug Katleen. She's back. They were both talking about something, and she just smiled about it. She turned her head in my direction, and I couldn't help but notice that some things were different about her. I jumped off the bench and slowly made my way towards her, scanning her body as I got closer. Noticing that she has lost weight and it shows that, she also looks a bit pale, but her lips are kind of pink, and her eyes sparkled

"Well, if it isn't the idiot who decided to skip school for a whole week." I stared at her with no expression showed

"Here's one face I didn't miss." She rolled her eyes, and I just scoffed at her

"You lost a lot of weight. Did you eat or just crawl out of a grain?"

"That's none of your business." She gave me this disgusted look as if she was going to throw up just by looking at me before walking behind me

"You here." I heard Donny's voice

"Yeah, I did say I'll come with you." She smiled at him, I just rolled my eyes at them

"Oh wow, Kate, you really did lose a lot of weight. How come Calix noticed it before I did?" Evelyn mumbled

Donovan looked up at me from Katleen with a smile on his face, and Katleen didn't say anything to Evelyn

"Stop making it seem like I paid attention to it. Her uniform is just loose. Are u blind that you can't see that?"

"No." Evelyn stared at Katleen's uniform, and I just rolled my eyes and walked off without them

I need to do some work before I go out tonight. This means I might leave school early today, but that was the plan anyway. I'll stay until 12, then head out

Donovan~

They day was going by faster than I expected it to be, but that's alright, It's not like I could focus much in class anyway. It's almost time for us to leave. Calix left school at 12 but probably won't see him until tonight's mission anyway.

"You ready to go?" I asked Katleen as she finished packing up

"Yes." She threw her bag over her shoulder

Her hair started getting caught under her bag every time she tried to throw it over. She started keeping her hair open now. She usually tied it up in some way.

"Why don't you tie your hair?" I asked her

"I don't have a hair tie because your annoying friend took mine." She scoffed even at the thought of him

"Why don't you ask for it back?" I suggested, but she didn't reply. It seemed like she was lost in thought

"Are we going to ride there?" Katleen asked once she realized we were walking towards my bike

"Yes, how else are we going to get there?" Smiling at her

"Oh, I thought we were going to walk there." She said, but I could see she didn't want to ride
