Blurb: All Vivian ever wanted to make was a potent love potion, but she didn't know she'd end up with three extremely hot wolf guys who could not keep their hands off her.

VIVIAN

"That tastes like shit," Marc was the first one to finish and make a comment. A sour look hung on his face after he had drained all the potion. I analysed his expressions carefully and continued to make notes on his reaction.

Cade gaged as soon as he was done drinking the potion, but he straightened up when he received a stern look from me. But no matter what he did, his disgust for my potion couldn't be hidden.

"Remind me never to sign up for potion tasting again," Nix scoffed bitterly after he was done.

"Hey! You were the one who talked us into this," Marc shot, and Cade grunted. I continued to observe the three very carefully while writing down my observations.

"Fuck this shit, I'm out," Nix shot up from his place, but I glared at him.

"You've already ingested the potion. You cannot back out anymore. How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Terrible," Nix tried to wipe his tongue with his shirt to get the awful taste off.

"Fucking awful," Marc shot.

"I want to puke my guts out," Cade joined soon enough.

"Describe in detail," I urged.

"Will puking my guts out would be detailed enough?" Cade asked.

"No. Tell me how you feel," I said, glancing at the other two. Nix was still trying to wipe his tongue and get the taste off while Marc sat silently, trying to forget that he had ever tasted such a terrible thing.

Mentally, I had already given up on creating the perfect love potion, but this was my last shot. Well, I had told myself the same thing the previous time, but this was my last time because I was starting to get fed up.

I had experimented with the portion recipes so fucking much by now that I was beyond frustrated. I tried every fucking thing, yet nothing seemed to work. Everything seemed to go wrong every fucking time, and I didn't have my hopes up this time as well.

This, indeed, was the last time I ever tried making a love potion because I was out of ingredients, too, and didn't have more funds to continue experimenting. I had to draw a line, and I decided this was it.

I could tell that the three wolves I had been assigned to help with my experiments were fed up with this, too. They had been only putting up with me because they were serving their sentence for breaking some Weddard Witch laws. If they didn't comply with me, they'd be assigned to other witches who might not be as kind as me. Besides, the three were easygoing and didn't give me much of a headache. After working with them for months, I started to get used to their nature, and it was doing well for me. I'd suck to lose them all.

I sighed deeply.

"I feel sick. I swear if it upsets my stomach, I will spit in your coffee the moment you look away," Cade said.

"I feel like shoving a finger down my throat and puking everything out and then cutting my tongue because that's the only way I'll ever forget the horrible taste of that thing," Nix said.

I looked at Marc, but he was utterly silent, with a contemplative look on his face while his eyes closed.

"Marc?" I called for him, but he didn't respond. "Are you there? How do you feel? Are you alright?" I asked him.
