Chapter 8

Eric's POV:

"I will walk you to the class, come with me" ,Seth who was my good friend since start of college told me however his actions sounded off because he is the type who never does such thing, "I don't need you-" before I could complete my sentence someone bumped into him rather harshly, I snickered slightly and stepped back in shadows, he had surprised expression on face looking at the girl infront of him "Hey, how have you been?" Seth asked, she gave him a rather awkward smile and said "Umm... Seth right?" to which Seth smiled weirdly, I have never seen him smile like that though but then again we don't know each for that long anyway, then she glanced at me so I just blanked my face morphing into boring look, she just looked another way "Have you seen Celine?", Seth asked she looked startled, "No she is not even picking up my calls" she replied rather cautiously, "Weird.... She is not even picking up my calls neither her mom"  ,she looked confused " Hope so she is okay, I heard she went to her hometown with her dad but can't say for sure" she said concerned Seth looked distant, " Hey what's the time?" she asked him out of nowhere " I don't know I don't have watch", he said then she glanced at me to see that I was holding mobile, "Hey... umm... what's the time?", she asked me so instead of responding I just stepped forward and showed her time, she looked shocked for a moment then covered up her expression, I smirked slightly knowing things are gonna get interesting...Vaguely saying bye she ran off at full speed in the direction where my class was, "I gotta go" I took off in that direction ignoring Seth and his calls,  "Why are you late Ms. Stewart?" Professor asked her, I raised my eyebrows in amusement and just stood right behind her, I could feel her perfectly on my body, she was slightly chubby but perfect curves, neither too skinny neither too chubby and her perfume smelt like fresh rain which was very rare for girls 'Shut it, you have girlfriend' I reminded myself, I was a loyal person but this girl has some weird aura around her, "Girl problems sir" she replied savagely which made professor turn into 50 shades of red, I snickered inwardly "What about you Mr. Stanley?" He asked in a gruff voice, "Boy problems sir" I answered in a bored manner whole class doubled in laughter, he gave me pointed look so I raised my eyebrows in warning manner he just let me in at that...

Seth was trying to call someone and I was nipping on lollipop looking around bored as usual suddenly I heard a sorry and it's the girl from yesterday "Hey, what a coincidence to meet you here!" he asked rather too friendly, she just stood there awkwardly slightly sighing and glanced at me then suddenly avoided, I raised my eyes in amusement again, I don't know why I even feel amused by her although her actions are regular it really felt pathetic, suddenly her expression morphed into anger one, "You fine?" Seth asked to which she suddenly jolted up and moved back startled, she looked disgusted making me curious of her thought process now "Yeah I was just zoned out" she gave a fake smile and said "Meet me after school hours at cafeteria" she ran off... again... I sighed 'Does she have a hobby of running off in mid of conversation?!' I chuckled to myself like a stupid

We went to cafeteria right after bell, I don't know why was I even following them, suddenly she and her two friends came with her, I recognized Arian Windsor as he was topper of whole academy and the other one was Ava King, second topper and a top member in student council, I barely bothered myself about others but there photos are displayed at entrance so they were not a new faces, "Where is Seth?" she asked me in formal tone, "Will be back in some mins" I answered vaguely, Seth appeared soon and I zoned out, "What are you doing here?" I heard Seth's voice ask me that brought me back "Nothing", "Then why are you here?" he asked in a accusing manner, I rolled my eyes inwardly at that "Simply" I said in order to stop conversation, he just gave up and nodded at her, I just zoned out again not interested in whatever they were talking, "-you both are not even close to each other" I heard her voice say in a pointed way which sounded sweet for some reason, I heard Seth sigh and say "We both are dating, she is my girlfriend from past 3 months" 

Now this was a news to me, I never knew he was dating her, he was still looking too emotionless while saying that, an announcement was heard informing all CRs to summon at council room, both of her friends perked up at that, suddenly Arian said "I don't know why you guys are so much stressing on this, it's not even concerned to us" I raised my eyes amused at his words, he hit at point but his supposedly girlfriend got angry and dragged him away, it was odd turn of events now I smirked, here they were deciding of meeting time, I took my phone and texted my girlfriend saying I am busy this weekend, "At what time should we meet" I asked both looked weirdly at me, "Don't you have date with your girlfriend?" Seth asked in a panic tone, I just said "It got cancelled" in an indifferent manner, while she was looking quite surprised at this, "Weren't you excited for your date just before coming here? When did it even got cancelled?!" he again told in a panicked tone acting suspicious I just replied "Just now" in a monotone "And why?" "Simply" this conversation was going nowhere now, "Can you both do your talking later? Just tell me the damn time, I don't have whole day" she slightly shouted seeing this meaningless conversation, we shut up at that "At 7pm tonight" Seth said to which she nodded and stormed off...We both were there by 7:15pm and they came by 7:20pm, I had asked her name to Seth it was Erica it was such a awesome coincidence I smirked at it and she was in her PJ's it suited her as there was "Fuck off" written on it, suddenly her friend said she has to get her supposedly boyfriend and ran off before Seth could even complete his words I just snickered at this situation then Seth said he'll go check out the house for anything wrong and left, now it was just me and 'Ms. I'm on a mission' Erica she was amusing to me in a bad way, to get to know her more I myself started a conversation which was shocking to even myself "Umm Erica right? Which branch are you in?" I asked, She hesitated a little before answering "Computer Science branch" she clearly didn't want to continue the conversation 'I see' I smirked inwardly and again said trying to talk again "Our names sound really similar" to which she just hummed and a small kitten came beside her and she bent down towards it and started petting it 'how adorable' I thought and bent down beside her and whispered in her hear "It really is cute" she suddenly jolted and got up then her friend and her supposedly boyfriend came while holding hands 'such a cliche' ,then suddenly realization dawned on me of what I did just now 'Get a grip Eric!!' Seth came back after 20 mins and we all went inside and I noticed the door was unlocked with a key 'interesting' I thought and went inside behind Seth and turned on my flashlight while looking around the house when I suddenly bumped into 'her' before she could say anything I rudely said "Watch where you are going" which angered her and with a sarcastic tone she replied "Yeh yeh it's so bright here that while glinting my eyes I bumped into your majestic shoulder" I couldn't help but smile inwardly at her reply but I just rolled my eyes infront of her and nodded my head towards the switchboard which I was looking at and she gasped a little and called her friend and Arian with whom I had a brief eye contact with 'This guy, he's something more than just a academic topper', Seth too came to see what we were all looking at and gasped in a little too dramatic way

Fun fact: Eric's character was initially inspired from my (author Lia) first ever crush in college...

A/N: Sorry we both were MIA for such a long time, but college has been really hectic and overwhelming for both of us so we couldn't upload... Do you guys like Eric so far? We'll try to upload more continuously.......
