Yeoreum put her skirt back on, once her shorts and tee had dried up a little. Though her hair was still damp, she tied it back into a low ponytail and put her socks and shoes back on.
Yeoreum fidgeted with her shirt, trying to stop it from sticking to her figure. Donghyuck, noticing her struggle, handed her his flannel shirt to wear over it.
"No, it's okay. You'll get cold." She said.
"I'd rather you feel comfortable." He replied, urging her to take it.
She took the shirt, pushing her hands into the sleeves and wrapping it around her figure.
Donghyuck quickly shook his head, trying to get rid of the excess water before he joined her back down the pier."Let's stop at the convenience store on the way home." He suggested and Yeoreum nodded, equally as eager for a snack.
There was a comfortable silence as they walked and Yeoreum felt like a weight had been lifted. She hadn't told him everything but being able to confide in someone about what was bothering her made her feel like she wasn't handling it alone.
As they approached the shop, Yeoreum saw how Donghyuck unconsciously sped up to reach the snacks faster and joined him in his pursuit for food.
They wandered through the ramen aisle, Donghyuck critically picking out his favourites and asking Yeoreum to trust him with the decision. Yeoreum wasn't a picky eater and let him take control of what they would buy.
As they'd strolled through the aisles, Yeoreum suddenly remembered that they were running out of coffee and turned to go grab someone, accidentally bumping into someone in the process.
"I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going."
Yeoreum apologised, helping them with their snacks."It's okay, don't worry- wait! You guys are from the pottery class aren't you?" She asked with a smile, pointing at the two of them.
Yeoreum recognised her as the bubbly girl from class who dresses in colourful clothes.
"Yeah we are." Donghyuck responded.
"Hi, I'm Haru. I didn't properly introduce myself last time." She extended her hand for them to shake.
Donghyuck accepted first, introducing himself, followed by Yeoreum.
"What are you guys doing out here? If I'm correct, you two are pretty famous in your own ways." She questions.
Donghyuck and Yeoreum went pale, afraid that she might tell the public that they are here. Unsure of what to say, they stood there uncomfortably.
"Oh no, I didn't mean to come across as some crazy fan. I won't say anything to anyone. I promise." She informed them but they weren't fully convinced.
"I'm from Seoul too, just spending the summer away.""How is your summer going so far?" Donghyuck asks, trying to be polite.
"It's fun. I like how quiet it is here and everything is much more slow-paced compared to the city." She smiled.
"That's true. It's nice to get away from the cameras for a while." Yeoreum told her.
"I can't imagine what that's like. It must be difficult for you guys. Like someone's watching your every move, I don't think I could handle it." She consoled them.
