Heritage:
Kairen is Loki's biological older half brother, they have the same dad but not the same mom, kairen is only part frost giant and part hawkling, hawkling's are basically an angel but more bird like. Kairen's mother was a god and hawkling she was known as the god of death. Now in this Loki is still adopted by Odin but in a different way. Basically when Loki was a baby thanos, invaded their planet and killed both his parents but before their fathers death he had ordered kairen to take his brother and run, and so he did, he took Loki and ran away but he couldn't get too far without thanos realizing. So he left Loki in the snow, knowing that someone would find him, and left, but before kairen could escape thanos shot him with I brain washing bullet and took him in, then training kairen to believe he was thanos's son.
In the end when kairen was captured by the avengers he slowly got his memory back and reunited with Loki.
