The two girls walked into the familiar ice cream parlour with linked arms. They shared giggles before approaching the counter, greeting the smiling Jungwon in the process. "One cookie dough ice cream and one strawberry ice cream, please." Ellie ordered - a soft smile stuck on her face.
Jungwon raised his brow and subtly smirked as he tapped in their order. "Not afraid to order now, huh?" He teasingly spoke, rencountering the time they had first properly spoken inside the small cafe. Ellie shook her head with embarrassment flooding her veins.
"I guess I'm just more comfortable with you now." She shrugged, slightly leaning on the counter as she watched the young boy prepare their ice creams. Kyujin stood awkwardly behind the two whilst checking out a group of boys walking past the ice cream shop.
Jungwon chuckled and nodded his head, handing her the two ice
cream cones. "Is that so?" He smiled and began to clean his hands, his eyes
still stuck on Ellie."How come she has a flake and I don't?" Kyujin cut in, taking her strawberry ice cream while eyeing up the thick chocolate flake stuck in the side of Ellie's cookie dough one. The Byeol girl looked between the two deserts and couldn't help but giggle.
Jungwon glanced over at the girls, a knowing smile creeping onto his face. "My apologies, I must've made a mistake." He admitted with smirk, looking over at Ellie and feeling satisfied when he saw her bright smile.
"Let's just go, Ellie." Kyujin muttered and pulled her girl by her arm, her still being a giggly mess as she began to exit the sweet smelling ice cream parlour. She casually glanced back behind her, meeting Jungwon's gaze once again.
"Bye, El." He called out and waved, the nickname making her heart do summersaults as her cheeks began to heat up. His voice along with his words replaying in her head and thousand times over.
"I thought you didn't like it when people call you 'el'. Why haven't you told him not to?" Kyujin questioned, licking the dripping pink ice cream that was starting to travel down her cream cone.
Ellie shrugged and bit down on her lip to prevent her smile from widening. "I guess it's not that bad.." she muttered.

Ellie cheerfully skipped out of her house, "sorry I took so long." She apologised to the boy who sat calmly waiting on his bike. Jungwon sweetly smiled as he watched the girl, admiring her dark blue jeans, white long sleeved shirt and black leather baggy jacket. He loved her style and how it complimented her so well.
"Let's go!" He cheered and began cycling in circles as he waited for the girl to get onto her bike safety. Once she was on they both began riding their bikes down the road, the cold air blowing Ellie's hair back and letting a refreshing feeling reach her neck.
