The sun has a lover,
She loves her so much,
She dies each night
Just so her lover can live,
And so she may shineBut when the sun dies,
She lends her light and warmth
To her lover, each nightThe moon has a lover
Her lover burns bright
She dances through the day
And fades away at nightOur sun and moon are fond of each other
But no one knows how to help them outThere's nothing like the celestial love
Of the sun and the moon
They dance, from midnight to noonOur sun and moon are lovers
And they are close as soul mates
Nothing can break apart
Their true love or their aching pain
