Despite the monsters
In my aching head
I'd try and conquer
Your loneliness
And the truth is
I sometimes wish
I could gently fill
That emptiness
And make it grow
Into happiness
I'd look into your eyes
To find a glimpse of light
Id rip a part that yellow rope
And carry you into the sky
So please go on,
Reach the moon ,
I'll play you a tune
Made out of love
Away from the pain
Of Earth's falling rain
Closer together
I'd show you my lover
How worthy you are
Like a dying star
Of colors that bloom
For as long as they choose
As I am meant forever
To hold you
To love you
