Once they came back after visiting a couple of tourist spots, the couple decided to freshen up before they could sleep. While Wonwoo was showering, Inha opened the back door leading to the beach and was enjoying the sounds of the waves when she didn't realize her husband was coming behind her. She gasped when a pair of hands snaked around her waist as Wonwoo placed his chin upon her shoulder, hugging her tightly. She noticed that he wasn't wearing any shirt and blushed deeply. His hair was still wet and a few drops of water fell down onto her t-shirt.

"Do you like the sea?" He asked her, taking in the sea breeze and the sound of waves himself

"Yes. It's beautiful," she said, relaxing into the hug, the scent of his shower gel hitting her nose in a weirdly good way that made her heart flutter. "Thank you for bringing me here. I faintly remember coming to Busan when mom was alive. This brings back memories of her" she said, closing her eyes, trying to remember the bits and pieces of whatever memory that was left in her.

"What was she like? My mother-in-law?" He asked her now sitting down on the floor with Inha nestled between his legs.

"I… I don't remember much actually. After I grew up I came to know that she was the lead scientist working in dad's company. So despite being a busy woman, she always made time for me. I think that's what I miss the most about her"

"Hmm…" he said letting her know that he was listening to her.

"Then she fell sick. And then I remember my stepmom coming into our house frequently, " she said, talking about her mom's illness for the first time with her husband.

"Your stepmom used to come to your house while your mom was sick?" Wonwoo asked her in a serious tone, turning around slightly to face her. Alarm bells started ringing in his head as he wondered why Kim Sumi would visit their house while Inha's mother was sick.

"Apparently she was my mom's secretary" she said and Wonwoo looked at her, trying to comprehend the whole thing.

"Did your dad cheat on your mom while your mom was alive, Inha?" He asked her, as so many doubts popped up in his head.

"What!? No, no, dad would never do that to mom!" She said defiantly, now turning around completely to face her husband. She looked offended for some reason and Wonwoo didn't know whether she was telling the truth or denying something she didn't want to believe that her dad could have done.

She was a young kid then, obviously she couldn't have known. He thought to himself

Meanwhile, Inha looked at his confused face, which was swarming with so many thoughts.

"Wonwoo" she said, trying to bring back his attention towards her. "I know dad didn't cheat on mom because he got married to my stepmom a few years after mom passed away. He had no other choice because my stepmom conceived Suya. Until then he didn't want to marry anyone" she said looking up at him.

"Still…" Wonwoo was about to drive home his point as he was still not convinced about the dad when Inha suddenly kissed him to make him stop from thinking too much.

"You might wonder if I have any proof to prove my dad's fidelity. But a child knows how much her parents love each other. Dad was always by mom's side when she was sick. There is no way he cheated on her with that crass woman while she was alive" Inha not only said thoughtfully but was confident in her words.

"Arasseo,'' he said, but his mind was still consumed with thoughts about Inha's family. He wondered if Ayat's grandmother found anything worthwhile when Inha kissed him again knowing that look on his face all too well. He was snapped out from his thoughts as he looked at her mischievous expression.
