Book: Mila (The Godfather)
Author: Adriana BrinneMila: The Godfather by Adriana Brinne is a captivating addition to the series. Riagan, a surprise-happy-go-lucky mafia man, steals the spotlight as my favorite after Merrick from *Paradise Descent* by Raya Morris. Unlike the brooding archetype, Riagan openly expresses his emotions, demonstrating eloquence both in words and, well, other aspects. The portrayal of autism through Mila, the protagonist, is beautifully done. She's awe-inspiring—an innocent, cute, sweet, and undeniably sexy package. This book leaves you torn between favoring the male or female lead; they're equally adorable, hot, and make an amazing pair.
Genre: Mafia Romance
While jumping into the seventh book may be a bit confusing at first, a few chapters in, clarity sets in. For a fuller picture of events, reading the previous books is recommended.
