Another clatter leaves the room she had left, a woman nearing middle age stands with a bat in her hand beside an old CRT television nearby playing an old VHS of the 'Neverending story', in front of her is a singular creature. Its arms elongated as its legs walk like pins as it stares silently.
"Fuckin' hell.." the woman grumbles lowly to herself, her eyes never leaving the creature as its large oversized mitt of a hand extended as if to grab her. It didn't get the chance as she swung for him and the bat connected with the solid exterior of its arm. A smile danced across her face for a second as she saw it flinch in return before it fell from her lips as it slammed its hand forward hitting her full force into the wall behind her.
"AH-" her voice jumps in her throat as the wind is knocked from her body expelling any thoughts from the shock leaving her helpless at its mercy. The sound of sharp tapping was heard as its sharp legs ran at her before its hand slammed down upon her head, one of her eyes ruptured from its retina. A splurge of noise drowned out her scream as the brain within her now shattered skull dripped from her nose and from behind her nerves that barely held the eye above her lips now.
The sound came from a puppeteer of sorts that stood behind the creature dragging it back with a laugh, an amused almost sociopathic laugh. His eyes remained closed calmly as he walked towards the woman poking at the exposed tissues and nerves amused.
"Such a mess made, naughty naughty.." He hummed before another laugh left his throat. "Well perhaps we may still fix this ay?" his face turned to the creature that stood growling not a hint of amusement in its inhuman features so the puppeteers face fell to match the look. Annoyance evident as he let out a huff of air, "You may show some enthusiasm towards my brilliance, no need to be so rude," he hummed slightly before turning to the woman again.
Carefully he put back on his gloves as he looked around for a few ideas before smiling at the Television beside her body, "Well, shall we speed up the cores corruption of humans?" he chuckled as he lifted it up calmly and grabbed her by her shirt dragging the item and corpse out of the room with the creature trailing behind.
Out of the building he wandered hours later, dragging behind him a woman with blood still dripping from her neck where it connected with hundreds of wires leading to a dark television head. Her body stumbled slowly as he led her amused.
"My you seem unamused by this all, whats wrong? Cat got your head?" a laugh erupted from him as he enjoyed his own joke. The screen flickered to life, the static covering it for a second before it turned off once more as a scream of almost pain erupted from within its capsule. Smoke poured from the VHS tape hole as the scent of burning hair and meat wafted from it as well.
"Perhaps I had misplaced some wires," he seemed intrigued as he watched the smoke grow more as the smell became almost unbearable. Though as the screams died down the woman stood there, her hands at her side limp before static replaced the screams and the television flicked on once more.
'It hurts'
The words slowly flickered upon the screen before the same words repeated covering the screen swiftly as the sounds of glitching screams returned as her hands lifted and started ripping at her neck with her nails, scratching off chunks and chunks of her flesh. He barely reacted simply bored by the pain she exhibited.
As slowly the smoke and smell evaporated into the air she seemed to act almost confused. Her hands falling back to her side as her new head tilted, red flickering over the screen once in awhile before a rebooting blue screen took over.
"My took you long enough, is there anything left within now?" bemused by the sudden change in movement he stays a few steps away. His eyebrow quirks up slightly as the screen turns off and on before a singular question appears upon the screen.
          'What have you done'
Its question lingers on the screen as its 'head' turns to him. A small smile dances on his lips again and he returns to walking, a hum in his voice as he opens his mouth to speak. "I made you, well better that is," he chuckled.
Her screen stayed watching him as an eye opened up on it staring after him. As he walked he made no indication for her to follow him, he simply was fine leaving her behind with her new life. Her new pain, her new entire being. All she could do was try to process what in the world she may do now that she has been forced upon the life of a monster.
