It didn't take long for Dana to find herself pressed against the mirror with her legs wrapped around Billy's waist and his tongue down her throat.

His mouth tasted sweeter than all the drinks she had consumed that evening yet made her feel more drunk than all of those combined.

His hands gripped underneath her thighs, her soft skin contrasting against his rough fingers as he toyed with the fabric of her fishnets wanting nothing more than to just rip them off her completely.

He had missed her lips, her touch, her moans. He was almost scared none of this was real and that he was imagining the whole situation while black out drunk somewhere. It wouldn't surprise him, his mind often led him to thoughts of Dana when he was drunk or passed out.

Dana quickly realised where this was leading and abruptly pushed him off, catching her breath as he looked down at her in confusion.

"We're not doing this" She stated.

She fixed her hair that had gotten tangled from being pushed against the mirror and avoided his eyes that were desperately trying to decipher her sudden change of heart.

"What's the matter?" He asked.

He already longed for her touch, the small taste of her only creating a larger craving as he tried to pull her in closer once more.

"I'm not gonna just be another girl that you hook up with when you're drunk and it's convenient to you" She explained.

She wanted more than just sex and while that may be enough for Billy Hargrove, that wasn't enough for her. She wanted a relationship, the sweet moments that accompanied it like holding hands and falling asleep in each other's arms.

"You're not" He replied.

"I seen you dancing with Tina, i'm not dumb Billy" She sighed.

If he just wanted to get lucky then he should have just tried Tina, she thought. Why did he have to confuse her even further?

"And you know I don't want Tina" Billy explained "She was upset, I was just cheering her up"

"Sure" Dana said rolling her eyes and not believing him.

Billy didn't understand why she was seemingly annoyed with him, she was the one who kissed Steve, she was the one who was having the time of her life partying away.

"Let me guess, Steve is waiting for you somewhere right?" Billy asked.

It had to be Steve that was the reason behind her sudden change of heart, it was always Steve.

"What are you talking about? I haven't even seen Steve since I told him to leave on Christmas" Dana sighed.

She wasn't sure if Billy was purposely trying to confuse her or if the alcohol was convoluting her thoughts but either way she was not following the conversation.

Billy was surprised by the answer, had she really not jumped at the chance to be with Steve after he declared his feelings towards her? Come to think of it, he hadn't seen Steve at all at the party but he naturally assumed he was lingering somewhere.

"So you didn't come here with Steve?" Billy asked.

"No? Why would you think that?" Dana asked.

"Why would I not?!" Billy replied feeling equally as frustrated in the conversation that seemed to be going in circles.

"Whatever, i'm going back out" Dana dismissed.

She headed towards the door but he gently grabbed her arm and pulled her back to stop her from leaving. He wanted to sort whatever the miscommunication was now instead of continuing the cycle.
