Forget and Fall

The ponder of a million thoughts,

Struggling to contain,

Eased barely by what the shadows wrought.

Echoed out through the mind will thee refrain.

Emotions torment and wound,

Drowning bit by bit, until thee is completely consumed.

Words spoken about mental unease,

Brushed off by peers like a gentle breeze.

Emotions of thine seem to matter not,

Fall, fall; bringing the mind to rot.

Forgotten and alone thee stays—-

Never will ever see the light’s rays;

The gentle light’s embrace is long forgotten.

For now, thy soul's rotten.
