"Huy, Sophie! Okay ka pa ba teh?" Emily asked. I just lack of sleep, I'm stress with everything lately. I feel like sasabog na utak ko sa dami na iniisip ko ngayon.

I feel like I'm losing myself. I lose my spark.

"Yeah.. I'm fine." utas ko. Even Aiden is worriedly looked at me and I just smiled at him. I miss the old me, the person who can be joyful kahit na nahihirapan. That ball of sunshine girl, i miss her.

Ngayon.. I don't feel like I'm kind of that girl anymore. It feels like the spark in me already lost and never be found again. Noong una okay naman 'yung buhay ko simula nung lumipat ako rito sa Manila. I already miss my girlies, pero wala na akong gana sa lahat. I don't know why, I'm so done with everything. I feel like I am giving up.

Giving up on my dreams, myself, to my family, to my friends, even to Ethan.

And suddenly, my phone vibrates.

Ethan:
Let's eat dinner together later, I will introduce you to my Mom.

I don't know... I'm confused with everything right now Ethan. But I'll try. As I watched myself in the mirror, napabayaan ko na pala ang sarili ko. Nagkaroon na ako ng pimple sa pisngi, tinubuan na ako ng small bumps sa forehead, at nagkaroon na ako ng eyebag.

After kong mag-ayos, bumaba ako at iyon ulit. Nag aaway na naman sila, nakakapagod na.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Aurora?!" Dad shouted.

"You're the root of all of this, Mike! Stop shouting at me," Mom shouted back.

Sa sobrang busy nila sa pag aaway, hindi na nila alam nakalabas na ako. They started fighting noong nandito na kami sa Manila, dati ay okay naman sila sa Cebu. I just didn't know.. what, when, and where did this all happened.

"Let's go, Ethan!" I nervously said. Ethan didn't know about my family issues right now, I do not want him to bother.

"Nag aaway ba sila?" He asked.

"Uh, no! They were just playing charades! You know, my parents is just love spending time together." Pag segway ko pa sa lalaki. Sana lang ay maniwala si Ethan sa dahilan ko na ito.

"Alright, let's go."

I'm nervous.

"Pasok, hijo, hija." sagot ng nanny nila Ethan. I smiled at her.

Sa bawat pag habang ko ay siyang bigat naman ng nararamdaman ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit, pero pakiramdam ko ay may kakaiba ngayong gabi. I saw his Mom and Dad.

Her Mom glared at me. She didn't want me to be her son's girlfriend, I already knew it by her eyes. There's something in her eyes when it met mine.

"Good evening po, Tito, Tita."

"Mrs. Enriquez, young woman." utas ng Mama niya. Ethan just smiled at me, sinesenyas niya na okay lang 'yon.

"Good evening po, Mrs. Enriquez."

"Na jijingle ako, cr po muna ako. Start na kayo kumain mommy," utas ni Ethan. Bakit.. Kailangan sumakto pa ang pag-alis mo, Ethan? After umalis ni Ethan sa hapag kainan, doon na ako kinausap ng Mama niya.

"Let's be frank here, young woman. Hindi kita gusto para sa anak ko." Ikinagulat ko pa rin iyon kahit inexpect ko na sa tingin niya sa akin.

"Magbabalikan si Ava at Ethan, they were already engaged don't you know about it? Nakatali na sila sa isa't isa. That's the rule in this family, we're business people here. I already arranged his marriage with Ava Martinez. If you think you can fight with me, hindi tama ang iniisip mo. We already tie knots with Mr. and Mrs. Martinez. Huwag ka na umasa pa," mahabang litanya ng Ina na niya na siyang kinagulat ko. He's already engaged? With Ava? I thought he broke up with her already?
