Mei rolls her eyes and takes a box from Greenbean, walking over to me.
Y/n: So who's this mentor you've been praising none-stop? Must be someone pretty important if I had to guess.

Y/n: 'Chasing the past as it was hasn't exactly worked out well for me, so... I'm just gonna carry on as normal and wait for the past to come to me. Ok? Ok.'
Mei opens the box and shows me an arc reactor. Guess I'll finally be able to fire chest lasers WITHOUT it running my battery dry! Even though I ain't that big on upgrades, I see this as an absolute win. Mei carefully plugs in the arc reactor, removes all of the cables from the generator and I swing my legs over the workbench, standing up for the first time in a month.
