Cannot Reciprocate

CHAPTER 1

"Where is he?" I asked Annika.

"Malapit na." she said. I smiled. Inayos ko ang buhok ko.

"How's my face?" I asked again.

Annika rolled her eyes. "Fine. Always fine, Ciara." sarcastic nitong sabi.

I just rolled my eyes. I looked at the man who just walking. Damn. He's hot.

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko ng hindi niya man lang ako tignan.

I heard Annika's laughed.

I followed him.

"Hey, Uno." wika ko pero hindi niya ako nilingon.

"I have something for you. Stop walking!" inis kong wika. Hinabol ko ang lakad nito. Lakad takbo ang ginawa ko para maabutan siya.

"Stop following me." malamig nitong sabi.

"I won't. Take this." kinuha ko ang kamay nito at pilit na pinapahawak ang hawak kong paper bag.

I heard him cursed. Tumigil ito sa paglalakad. Binitawan ko na rin siya dahil hawak na nito ang bigay ko.

"I baked that. You eat that, love." I sweetly said. Nakatingin lang ito sa akin.

"I hate a woman who was obsessed. Pathetic." aniya.

Its hurt. Pero sanay na ako. Yeah, I'm obsessed to him. Then, who cares?

"It's okay. What's the matter is that I like you." I smirked. I walked away from him.

Bumungad sa akin ang mukha ni Annika. Bored itong nakatingin sa akin.

"Desperate." bulong niya.

"I know. Who cares anyway. He's mine." pang aakin ko.

We went to the cafeteria. I walked to the counter.

"Get off my way, nerd." I said to the girl who was in the counter. She looked at me then stay back.

I heard some whispers. I smirked as I order. Hinintay ko ang order ko. Annika ordered too.

"Ciara, I heard you went to Uno again. How was it?" nilingon ko si Daisy. Another bitch.

Mataas ang heels nito. Red lipstick match with her wavy hair.

"Oh, you heard it then why are you asking me." walang gana kong sagot.

"Ma'am, here's your order." ani ng nasa counter. Kinuha ko ang order ko at naglakad papunta sa gitnang table.

I'm the Queen here.

Narinig ko ang pagsinghap ni Daisy.

"Right. I heard that you gave him a paper bag. They saw the paper bag in the trash bin along with your what so called baked." she laughed after that.

He threw it. That man. Nagpatulong pa naman ako kay Manang on how to bake but he just threw it!

"You know what Daisy, stop acting like he is your boyfriend. Such a bitch." I rolled my eyes and sat to the chair.

Nagsimula akong kumain. Natigil ako sa pag kain ng maramdaman kong binuhusan ako ni Daisy ng tubig.

She is trying my patience.

Tinignan ko siya. Tumayo ako sa pagkakaupo.

"Making a scene, really?"

Tumaas ang kilay nito. Others students are just staring. Normal to them ang ganitong scene.

Ang sabi ko ay hindi muna ako papatol sa ganto dahil nag papakabait ako para magustuhan ni Uno. But, this bitch is trying my patience.

"Are you done?" I asked.
