FLASHBACK

Rayne was standing in front of a whole row of graves, looking at them with a cold emotionless look, He wasn't alone in that cemetery, there were several people scattered in different places, each one standing in front of a certain grave, there are those who stand silently and those who cry in grief over the loss of their loved ones

The sky was overcast with clouds
It was a very gloomy atmosphere in that country

His eyes moved to the side when he heard a sound of someone's footsteps approaching him, it was Ryoh Grantz.

Ryoh stood next to Rayne, looking at him coldly, then he looked towards the graves that Rayne was contemplating
"Did you get to know the Squad No. 3?" Ryoh asked

"I don't know anything about them except their names, I only met them and their leader this morning" he deadpanned

"It was a really long day, All the protection Squads died this morning defending the country, and no one got out alive except the Divine Visionaries" Ryoh said in a calm voice

Rayne didn't respond and continued to look at those graves before turning to the side and walking away.

"Everyone at the moment they use their magic for the sake of the country and its people, is fully aware that they may die today or tomorrow, they don't always come back victorious from battles so they try to live their lives without regret at all, you are new to the Bureau and this is the first time you witness something like thid so..." Ryoh looked at Rayne

"Try not to die quickly, hold on to your life well and don't give up"

Rayne stopped walking when he heard those words
"You don't need to tell me this" Rayne furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Ryoh with a look of pride

"I've already come this far, I'm not going to die"

"Partisan!"

Several swords shot towards a huge spider that was about to attack, there were many others, they all came out from that wooden house

It took Rayne a while to attack this spider and kill that spider while at the same time trying not to relax his defense, he is very exhausted, not to mention some serious injuries he got.

Rayne looked towards the wooden house, spiders coming out of there one after another without stopping

'Is it mpossible for a house of this size to bear so many huge spiders? How do they get out of there one by one? Does that huge spider I saw have anything to do with it? Why hasn't he come out yet?'

Rayne's thoughts were interrupted by one of the spiders swooping down to attack him, but he managed to dodge its attack with a quick movement, he pointed one of the swords at the spider, the sword split it into two halves.

'I didn't put in much effort, but I feel exhausted already ... have these spiders become stronger?'

Rayne stared at those spiders standing in front him, The fog around him increased, he noticed that the spiders he had killed had a white gas like fog leaking from inside them, but he didn't pay attention to that, these monsters were waiting for the right chance for Rayne to relax his defense.

'My vision is blurring and my head hurts, I've been fighting them non-stop for hours but it's no use, these spiders are endless, there's something wrong here, and also...'
