KYY: 21 Years Later

Chapter 2

Around 15 minutes later, Manik & the others arrived at the hospital. Manik ran to Rakesh who met him at the front reception area.

"Rakesh....Nandini kaisi hai? Mera babies? Sab thik hai na? Huh? Tell me...sab thik hai?"

"Yes sir, sab thik hai. Unko twins hua hai....ek beta aur ek beti. Room mein rest kar rahi hai, Navya ma'am aur Yug baba wahi hai." Rakesh replied. Rakesh took them to the room and Manik entered along with his friends. Everyone looked around in confusion.....the bed was empty and the crib was as well. There was nobody in that room at all.

"Yeh...Rakesh...kaha gaye sab?" Manik asked.

"Sir...humne toh Navya ma'am ko andaar jaate hue dikha tha. Sab yehi they...hum aapko call karne aa gaye front desk pe." Rakesh replied.

"Agar yehi they toh ab kaha hai?" Abhimanyu asked.

"She left..." Manik replied. "Maine uska dil thoda hai...uska bharosa thoda, thats why she left."

"We should find them....hum unhe dhund ke maafi mangenge. We'll fall at their feet....par we have to find them." Cabir spoke up. "Nandini ka abhi abhi delivery hua hai and dono babies bhi premature hai...iss halat main they shouldnt be out! Its our fault they are in this condition in the first place....we have to find them."

"Haan...Manik, Cabir is right. We have to make up for our mistakes." Aliya nodded.

"Lekin...how will we find them?" Dhruv asked. "I doubt they will answer their phones."

"Hum dhund lenge...lets all spread out and look all the places jaha jaa sakte hai." Manik replied.

Nandini & Navya arrived at the train station with three babies got a ticket for the first train leaving the city. They got in and sat down at their seats. Nandini kepts looking at her babies in concern. The train started.

"Nandini relax...humne doctor se baat kar li na? They will be fine...zyada lambha raasta bhi nahi hai. Bas Mumbai se nikal gaye toh they sont find us...and the first thing we will do is take them to get a check up. Woh toh acha hua ki maine sunn liya jab Rakesh unko bula rahe they."

"Navya...yeh shayad sahi nahi hai. Yeh dono Manik ke bache bhi hai." Nandini said.

"Manik ke bache? Nandini tum bhool gaye ke inn bachon ke baare mein Manik ne kya kaha? What he accused you of?" 

Nandini remembered Manik's words and her heart which was starting to melt became stone again.

"Haan....tum sahi bol rahi ho. Manik doesnt deserve to know....yeh dono sirf mere bache hai." Nandini replied. 

"Lo...inka toh haath pe woh hopsital wala tag abhi bhi laga hua hai." Navya commented. She gently took off the tag from Nandini's daughter "Malhotra daughter......I guess main bahar thi toh doctors ne Rakesh se pucha kya naam likhna hai. It's fine...they dont have a birth certificate yet...usme hum tumhara surname likhenge."

Navya was about to take off the tag from Nandini's son when the train suddenly lurched.

"AAH!" Navya & Nandini held onto their babies in fear. 

"Navya...yeh kya ho raha hai?" Nandini asked. The train was speeding up and swaying like it got off the tracks. Navya looked out the window and her eyes widened in horror. 

"Oh god...yeh train toh patri se nikal gayi!"

"KYA!!" Nandini held onto her babies as tight as she could while Navya held onto Yug. The passengers were all screaming & shouting in panic.
