Cale raised his eyebrow at the dead deer at the border of their campsite. It was a weird sight considering that such a large dead deer suddenly appeared out of nowhere without anyone noticing. But Cale, Ron and Beacrox were all well aware where this deer came from.
Cale moved his gaze and stared pointedly at the gorgeous and androgenous looking fellow redhead of his while pointing at the dead deer. Of course, Riel simply shrugged in response.
"Having them accompany me in this journey... Well, I really shot myself in the foot."
Cale groaned as he buried his face on Beacrox' chest as if hiding from reality. Beacrox passively stood there and let the young master, whom he treated as his younger brother, lean on him.
"Beacrox, you can use this deer as ingredient. Prepare an additional portion and offer it like a tribute to that being that hunted it. Well, you probably know about it already so this makes it easier."
Cale dragged his body away as he gave his order. All the while grumbling how he regretted going on this trip and how he was too lazy to be doing all this.
"Ron prepare to set off right after we had our breakfast. Also, ask Riel Ahjussi and Choi Han to meet me at my tent for a moment. I really need to have a word with them."
Cale went straight at his tent without even bothering to wait for a response. But of course, everyone was already used to it and just did as ordered.
Cale slumped face first right on his bed. Not even bothering to get up when he heard two voices coming from outside a few minutes later.
"You called for us, Young master Cale?"
Riel, who was already used at seeing Cale's attitude that doesn't really fit his status as a noble, ignored the redhead's current appearance. Instead, he simply and casually took a seat at the sofa.
His action was actually considered rude, specially in the presence of Cale- a noble. However, Cale didn't really care about such trivialities hence he simply gestured for Choi Han to take a seat as well.
Cale sluggish turned himself and laid on his back. With both his hands sprawled out in his bed.
"Ahjussi, can't you tell the young dragon to please not be so high profile?"
Cale asked bluntly without looking at Riel's direction. And of course, Riel answered him bluntly as well.
"I'm sorry Young master, but I really can't control a free being like the dragon. You can ask him yourself, if you want."
Riel smiled when Cale peeked at him, and that smile sent shivers down Cale's spine. He immediately looked away.
'His smile is scarily similar with Alberu hyung's when facing those annoying nobles!'
Cale thought to himself as he tried to stop the shivers he was experiencing.
"Oh, right. Our next stop is Puzzle City. You mentioned that Choi Han will separate from us from there onwards and will meet us back at the Capital, right?"
Cale mentioned as he casted a glance at Choi Han, who somehow looked sad and reluctant. Noticing his expression, Cale immediately sat up straight and stared at them.
"Right?"
Cale repeated, his voice now mixed with slight uncertainty and confusion. But both Riel and Choi Han only nodded in response, albeit the later nodding with obvious hesitance.
