The pretending?

After an exhausting week, they finally finished their test.

"Sure mom! I'll see you soon."

Beomgyu make a phone call with his mother before he went to bed.

Talking about his visit after the results will be announced.

He is very excited.

"I love you darling, sleep well."

The soft voice of his mom from the other line had almost made him tear up again.

Growing up without a dad was tough for Beomgyu, but his mom was his hero. She did everything on her own, facing challenges with courage to give Beomgyu a good life. She worked hard, sometimes taking on extra jobs, so Beomgyu could have what he needed. She made sure he went to school and enjoyed childhood like any other kid.

His mom love and sacrifices didn't go unnoticed by him. He knew she had faced many difficulties to make sure he had a happy upbringing. So that's why he would do anything for his mother to be happy. Beomgyu admired her deeply and felt lucky to have such a strong and caring mother.

"I love you too.. mommy.."

He can hear the soft breaths of his mother through the call, sounding like she also missed her son a lot.

"Also don't forget to bring your new boyfriend with you, your grandma's and everyone is looking forward to it."

His mother said, giggling, trying to make the atmosphere a bit lighten up before cutting off the line.

Which only makes Beomgyu to frown.

"Mom! Not you too..."

"Okay okay bye bye baby bear...see you soon."

"Bye..!"

She hanged up and Beomgyu jumped up from his bed, thinking deeply about what he will do if he really brings the Choi Yeonjun with him.

They'll gonna tease him so much, Beomgyu thought.

Cause as we know, he is single for his whole life and Beomgyu's mom always tells everything about him to their relatives.

And also told that he never dated anyone and now they saw Yeonjun as his firsts which is very exciting and a good news for them.

They almost thought Beomgyu would die single, almost.

Beomgyu wants to go by himself and have fun with them, but now he feel like he's trapped. He cannot go by himself or else all his days of visiting will turn out to be full of scolding, he knew them so well.

"I'll just take him."

He is yet inturrpted by a phone call.

"Speak of the devil."

Beomgyu muttered recieving the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey princess."

Beomgyu suddenly feels a flutter of butterflies in his stomach when he heard him being called by that again.

He now can't really get used to this nickname at all.

"What?"

"Is that your way of saying you missed me?"

"In your dreams Choi."

"You're my dream Choi."

Beomgyu cracked a tiny smile but quickly stopped himself.

"When will you stop being so flirty?"
