After the sudden death of his father, Choi Beomgyu, a 24-year-old CEO of one of Seoul's leading media companies, is forced to grow up faster than he ever wanted. Sharp, ambitious, and a little emotionally constipated, he's built a world of strict schedules and cold professionalism , until Choi Yeonjun, his mother's favorite, and now his most annoying employee, walks into his office (and his house).
Yeonjun has been by Beomgyu's side since their school days, charming, flirty, and hopelessly clingy. He's the type who sends heart emojis in work emails, steals Beomgyu's coffee, and "accidentally" falls asleep on his boss's shoulder during meetings.
And no matter how hard Beomgyu tries to act like a composed CEO, Yeonjun's smirks and playful touches keep leaving him a stuttering, blushing mess.
But as the line between employee and something more starts to blur, Beomgyu finds himself craving Yeonjun's attention in ways he can't control, and their chaotic circle of friends (Soobin, Taehyun, Huening Kai, Hyunjin, and Heeseung) are all too eager to watch it unfold like a real life drama.
Between boardroom banter, late-night movie marathons, and accidental confessions, Beomgyu might just realize that love isn't a distraction, it's exactly what he's been working for.
