When the college announces a paranormal investigation trip where selected students will explore an old abandoned mansion rumored to be demon-infested (or, according to Soobin, haunted by ghosts who tax your soul), both Yeonjun and Beomgyu get picked... and unfortunately, paired together. Now they must survive ghosts, jump-scares, flirting, curses, teammates who make everything worse, and the terrifying question: What if the real danger is falling in love?

"What does 'I hate you' mean to you?" There's a weight behind those words and it's not so easy for Yeonjun to answer. Once, he said it a million times over with hatred and spite, but now his tongue knots over his words, unsure of what he's meant to reply. The answer is a blurred line he can't make out and the negative terms he'd usually lay don't quite feel right. "I think so too," Beomgyu interrupts the silence. He gets it; the confusion, that is, because he doesn't know the answer either.
