About a month after I was released from the Hospital wing, I was laying on Padfoot's bed while he perfected his hair to look "presentable." He came out of the bathroom looking like he spent more time on his hair than me.

"You know, people are going to start to think you're the girl in this friend group."

He rolled his eyes and walked towards the door of their dorm. I followed the others. Minnie was in the common room when we walked out. She glanced over at us for a second before returning to her book. I think she gave up trying to keep me out of Gryffindor tower because she knew I would always find a way back in.

We walked to the courtyard to meet up with Tessi, Lily, and Marlene to go to Hogsmeade. I needed some things from Zonko's Joke Shop and Lily wanted to go to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer.

We all walked in a group at first, but Moony and I fell back while everyone else was about ten feet in front of us.

I don't think either of us knew what to say. I have no idea what he felt, but I just enjoyed his company while we watched Prongs and Lily mess around while the rest of them were laughing. I felt complete, except for one thing, but I don't know what it is.

Prongs, Padfoot, Moony, Wormtail, and I told Tessi, Lily, and Marlene we would meet with them at the Three Broomsticks while we went into Zonko's. I grabbed a few items I liked to use while Prongs and Padfoot grabbed a few other things.

We were in and out of the store within 10 minutes. We all walked to the popular meeting spot that most students went on our trips to Hogsmeade. We saw the three girls sitting at a table in the back. It was probably one of my favorite places to be in the whole shop because nobody walked by our table except for waiters. I took the chair with the best view out the front window.

We ordered butterbeer and talked. Our conversation went from classes to teachers we liked and disliked, stupid things we've seen around school, stupid things we've done, then to Quidditch.

"No way Gryffindor is beating Slytherin again this year." I said with a smirk.

"Excuse you, yes way." My twin answered.

"We have a new keeper this year who is way better than that second year from last season."

"Yeah, but we have a better chaser." Marlene informed me.

"No way they're getting past our keeper, and don't forget, I'm the best seeker in Hogwarts. I set a record last year. Only a minute and a half." I needed to keep the facts straight; I'm the better seeker.

"Yeah, you were just lucky." James spat.

"That skill isn't pure luck."

"It was."

"Was not."

"Yes."

"No, it wasn't, Prongs, and you know it."

"Ok then, when we get back to the castle, ask your captain if we could play a little game for fun. No huge competition, just for practice." I already knew the captain would agree, because it was me this year, I just hadn't told him yet.

"Okay, she says 'yes.' She'll gather the Slytherin team, and we'll have a friendly game tomorrow."

"You didn't talk to her?"

"No, but you did." Moony, Lily, and Marlene caught on immediately.

I waited for the realization to hit, which took an embarrassingly long time.

They all congratulated me, then our conversation was cut short by our time in Hogsmeade being over.

We all walked back to the castle together. Once again, Moony and I fell back, but this time, I started a conversation.

"They act like children." I laughed.

"They really do." He looked over to me and put his arm over my shoulders to pull me close. I must have been shivering. It was late November, after all.

I felt butterflies come alive when I snuggled into his chest while we were walking. I smiled, still watching the children running ahead of us.

A short time later, we arrived back at the castle.

"I'll see you guys in a minute; I need to go talk to my team." They nodded and walked off.

I ran to the dungeons, whispered 'pureblood,' and walked into the common room. I saw most of the team, so I got up on the coffee table and yelled, "Friendly Quidditch game tomorrow after lunch. Slytherin team, let's give 'em hell!" Because no way in hell am I letting my cocky brother win. I walked out of the room after giving them the details.

I slipped into the Gryffindor common room. I heard a first year say, "Hey, you can't be in here."

I felt powerful, so I turned around and said, "I really couldn't care less. I suggest you run off and find your little friends before you say anything else absurd." I smiled menacingly and walked off.

Goodness, how I love fucking with first years. I violently opened the door to the boys' dorm. No one flinched. I backed out of the room and tried again. I did get a reaction out of them this time, probably because they didn't expect it.

I sat down in between Remus and Sirius on the small couch they had. I decided I was uncomfortable pretty quickly, so I laid my head down on Remus' lap and put my feet up on Sirius. I did this often, so it didn't raise any suspicion from Padfoot. The truth was, I just wanted to be near Remus. I don't know, maybe I am gaining feelings for him.

We just talked for a while, but Remus started running his fingers through my hair. I swear, I just wanted to be his right there and then, but maybe not? I don't have any idea. Maybe I could just start casually flirting or something? That usually works for me. Why is this so hard? I want him to know that I might like him, but I don't at the same time.

-Remus POV- (A/N I'm never planning on doing this again.)

All she had to do was lay hear head on my lap and I immediately felt safe. I always felt uneasy, not sure why though, but with Ali, it's different. I started stroking her black hair. I felt her relaxing while continuing.

A few minutes of mindless movements later, her breathing slowed. I looked down and saw her sleeping on my lap peacefully. I smiled then shushed the rest of the boys.

"Shh. Ali's sleeping." They all quieted down. I carried her to my bed. I pulled the blanket over her body and sat back down next to Padfoot. I couldn't stop looking over at Ali.

It got late, and Wormtail was already in bed. I crawled into my bed with Ali still in it. I slipped under the covers and put my arm over her. I almost melted when she snuggled into my chest. I kissed her head and drifted off to sleep.

-Ali POV-

I woke up in a Gryffindor room. I had no idea which one until I realized my head was resting on Remus. I groaned because someone either decided to sleep with the curtains open or opened them too early in the morning.

"Close those goddamned blinds or one of you is going to lose your hands." A synchronized laugh came from all sides of the room. "I'm not fucking kidding; those curtains shouldn't be opened until after we get back from breakfast."

I felt Remus start to rub my back. "Come on and get up so we can all get food." I yawned and slowly rolled out of his bed. I grabbed the robes I always kept in here and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

I stripped and stepped into the glass shower letting the warm water run down my body. I took a few deep breaths and cleaned myself up. I stepped out of the shower wrapping a towel around myself. I put my clothes on and walked out of the bathroom. I could've sworn I saw Moony smile at me. Even thinking about it makes the butterflies in my stomach start flying around.

(A/N) I'm going to leave it there for now because I actually do need to focus on school for the next few days because my mock AP for my government class is coming up super fucking quick. I hope you guys are all doing better than I am. And you guys should go to sleep because most of you are midnight goblins. If you would like to see anything incorporated into this please just let me know and I will try my best.
