Ruby POV:

I don't know what to do anymore…my team said the most hurtful things to Jaune after lying to us. The people left with their refund, but gave us harsh glances at the others ... even us. I actually understand why ... .we're their teammates and it was our job to have them under our radar, but we failed.

Junior:”Go home everyone! We'll reopen next week!”

He sighs tirelessly from the latest problem of his bar, he turns around and sees me standing where Yang was punched to the ground. I flinch thinking he would start blaming me for my sister, but…

Junior:”Kid, you can calm down. I'm not blaming you for tonight, besides your friend needing his friend.”

I look at him with confusion, but I remember what he means as I turn around and see Jaune at the bar. He wasn't alone as Velvet was doing her best to comfort him. I walked toward him as I wanted to help him as well, placing my hand on his back in comfort.

Ruby:”Jaune?”

I asked carefully as I didn't want to hurt him, but then he spoke with a tired, sad voice.

Jaune:”I really thought we were friends….I did.”

I look at him with the depressed look on his face as he continues to speak, but with his voice breaking a bit.

Jaune:”I really thought I made some friends, but I guess…I was the fool on this one.”

Jaune's body slumped down as he had his head down as he felt depressed. I look down in shame, if I could have said something to the teachers or anybody really. Then none of this would have happened…

Velvet:”Oh Jaune…”

Velvet finally spoke as she continued to comfort him as she squeezed her right shoulder.

Velvet:”You don't deserve this nor what the others did. (Laughs) It's embarrassing.”

We both looked at Velvet as she let out some tears as continue to speak her words.

Velvet:(sobbing)”I couldn't speak or even have the courage to stop them. I just pulled along even saying I didn't want this!”

We feel sorry for Velvet as she belittles herself again. If only I could have done something then none of this would have happened in the first place. I'm not fit to be a leader…

Junior:(Sighed)”Jeez!”

All of us turned to Junior, who was standing behind the bar as he grabbed some stuff and set them on the bar.

Junior:”One after another, I'm dealing with some teenage drama.”

He said in annoyance, but he was mixing some drinks together as he handed me a glass with Jaune and Velvet.

Velvet:”Wait! But we can't! We-”

Junior:”Here, it's non-alcoholic. My treat after that shitty crap.”

Velvet calms down as she looks at the drink with uncertainty, but eases up to finally take the glass and drink it. To her surprise it was amazing to taste.

Velvet:”Oh wow! That's amazing!”

We both looked at her in surprise, but then two more glasses slid to us.

Junior:”You both need something after that bullshit. Those damn kids better be ready to face charges I'm going to use.”

As he said, he made himself a drink as well. All of us were feeling so drained from today, but we all went ahead and started drinking the drinks that Junior gave us. The sweet and bitter taste were perfectly balanced in one another.
