In Shangvi Palace, the atmosphere was filled with lively chatter as everyone gathered in the hall.
"This feels like a dream come true! Our Nonu is finally getting married," Grandma announced, her voice brimming with pride. "I’ll bring a bride so stunning that she will leave everyone speechless. After all, the bride must uphold the Shangvi family’s prestige."
"Maa, it's a modern era now. We don't need a traditional bride. Our daughter-in-law will be the epitome of sophistication, making all the other daughters-in-law envious," Aunty chimed in.
"Let’s not go overboard like last time," her husband teased with a chuckle.
