FRIDAY
like you said you would, you returned to the shelter but a little later than usual.
you arrived at 7 pm and was greeted by two unfamiliar faces.
one was a woman who looked around your age.
then you remembered what seungmin had told you.
this was rina, the girl who took night shift.
the other woman was unfamiliar to you.
rina gasped upon seeing your arrival.
"she's here!! miss kim she's finally here!!"
she jumped to her feet to welcome you in.
so it seemed the other woman was seungmin and eri's mother.
miss kim welcomed you with a grin.
"we've truly appreciated your kindness toward the shelter, miss l/n. but, may i ask a question?"
she held your hand in between hers.
"of course."
"are you looking to adopt? considering this is the third time you've visited and haven't settled on anything, i felt it necessary to ask."
her warm eyes comforted you in a way.
"i haven't figured that out yet, if i'm honest. my parents aren't exactly the nicest when it comes to animals."
you made your way over to the receptionist desk.
"i see. well i hope you find out."
she took her leave to the back yard of the shelter.
"sooo, what's being a model like? i'm sure you're spoiled with everything you could ever want."
rina admired you eagerly.
"something like that. and as far as everything i want...? you should've seen my mother the other day."
you pointed to the doorway.
