"WHAT TOOK YOU so long?" Yoon Solbitna whined as soon as she saw Min Yoongi approaching in the distance. For the past ten minutes, she had been waiting for him underneath the sunshine on a pyongsang that her father thoughtfully placed beside the gate as a makeshift spot for the neighbours and tenants to enjoy the summer warmth. Mr. Yoon had ventured to work early this morning. Yoon Seora was going to spend the day at the study room, while Mrs. Yoon had taken Seungho with her for grocery shopping at Mangwon Market. With Kim Taehyung away to hone his cheerleading skills at Yonsei, and with Park Jimin and Kang Pureom eagerly accompanying the boy with the sole intention of catching a glimpse of their crush from afar—their home, standing tall behind the blue steel gate and the sturdy concrete fence, exuded a sense of tranquility that Saturday afternoon.

As boredom settled like a heavy fog over the two remaining occupants of the house, Min Yoongi, persuaded by Hoseok to take a break from his intense work and studies, decided to treat Yoon Solbitna, the closest semblance of a little sister he had, to ice cream.

Park Jimin and Kang Pureom were taken aback by the bustling scene that greeted them at the Athletic Park that Saturday afternoon. The air buzzed with activity as athletes from various disciplines dotted the landscape. Perched on the stairs with a view spanning the entire sports ground, Jimin and Pureom watched as the track and field athletes limbered up in one corner ahead of their daily training routine. Across the field, members of the university soccer team executed precision drills, and on the far side, individuals clustered around cameras, engrossed in their own activities. Pureom speculated that they might be school student council members filming content or postgraduate Communication and Art students honing their skills. However, neither Jimin nor Pureom harbored much interest in their endeavors. Their focus lay elsewhere—on the interactions between Kim Taehyung and Jung Chae Ryung.

The Akaraka team conducted their practice session beneath the blue bleachers. Twelve cheerleaders stood in a pyramid formation, guided by their male captain orchestrating the choreography. Meanwhile, Kim Taehyung, a novice to the sport, stood several meters apart from the group with the cheer squad's vice captain, Jung Chae Ryung, who had been entrusted with coaching him by the team captain due to his lack of experience. She appeared quite different from the first time Jimin and Pureom had met her. Previously, she was clad in designer clothing from head to toe, and her makeup was immaculately done. However, today, she was barefaced, her long hair pulled back into a ponytail. She was dressed in cargo capri pants paired with a grey racerback tank top and white sneakers. The two tenants thought she was even more beautiful.
