Sikandar is sitting on a boat tied on the Ghat .3- 4 mallah boys are sitting there playing cards.

doctor - abhi Kitna din aur hai kaalej? .

Mother serves a roti to Siddharth. Sikandar look at them munching his morsel .
shanthi - Naukri ke liye to Paisa bhi Dena padta hai na?
Siddharth- sarkari naukari ...railway mein, ya bijali board mein... aur Paisa nahin mangta , interview leta hai ijjat se.
doctor- pagaar Kitna ? (Suddenly cuts the conversation and yells at Sikkandar) oo bahar raakh dhul raha hai aur tum yahan baith ke pagura raha hai ? sab Chandi maar lega ladka log.
Sikandar is stunned .
Sikandar - Shambhu chacha... ko bolkar aaye Hain udhar.
doctor - (back to Siddharth) pagar Kitna deta hai ?
Siddharth- vo interview ke bad bataega...
doctor- achcha hai nikal jao yahan.... se jitna jaldi nikalo utna... achcha aur jab Bane to humko.... bhi...
Sikandar chucks his plate across to Rani. it makes a scratching noise. everybody is silent .
Sikkandar -roti.
shanti put a roti and gives it to him. awkward silence. they all continue to eat. pretending nothing happened. Sikkandar bhas few bites and leaves angrily.
Sidharth's hose terrace - day
Sikkandar is standing and looking at ashes being washed by dom workers. One workers .( Shambhu chacha is standing closer to workers) one workers waves at a small chuck of molten metal to Sikkandar does not react.
Sikandar comes to the terrace. He stand by his side .
Sikkandar waits for a moment and leaves.
