Heart's POV
It has been a couple of days since I arrived here sa Atlas Academy. Sa pananatili ko rito sa iilang araw ay marami na rin akong natutuhang mga bagong bagay dito.
One of them is never go alone without Cornelia and Saiché. Masyadong dangerous ang lugar na ito sa mga tulad kong newbie. The reason? There are some bullies out there hanging out somewhere else here. Nagtataka lang ako kasi may mga bullies pala dito, hindi ba bawal iyon?
I also learned that this place is truly a school where do magic existed. I didn't even believe it at first, pero Saiché showed it to me with her psychic abilities. All of the people in this place do have magical abilities.
Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang maanxious dahil sa kaba. Kasi naman, I'm not like them. I don't even know how I managed to enter here. Since sabi nila masusunog ang body ko if I don't have magic. Kaya hindi ko rin alam kung bakit buhay pa ako.
“Hey, it's your first day! Kaya iyan ha?" Kalabit sa akin ni Cornelia at napangiti ako. We smiled at one another while they're helping me to prepare myself na pumunta sa classroom.
Today is my first day to attend a class here. They clarified to me that the tuition here is free and everything in here is free. They didn't tell me how it happened but I should enjoy here since everything is just free. Wala namang masama kung mage-enjoy ka sa free, right?
Not to mention, this school is prestigious. I can't deny the fact that it is way better than my previous school. I'm glad to accept the offer that Headmistress offered to me. To stay here, I must witness the quality of the education here and with their fascinating yet mystical magic abilities.
I know, I'm slowly learning to accept that there are magic here. I'm not going to defy it anymore.
Naka-upo ako at nakaharap sa salamin habang inaayusan ako ni Cornelia ng buhok. Habang si Saiché naman ay inaayos ang kwelyo at damit ko. "Seriously guys, you don't have to do this—"
"Heart, we just wanted to help you. And make you feel special since you are a newbie here. Okay?" Paalala ni Cornelia at sinang-ayunan naman siya ni Saiché. Napatango nalang ako habang nakangiti sa kanila. Pinagmamasdan ang sarili ko.
Cornelia and Saiché really did a great job for being my roommates. Hindi nila ako pinapabayaan and they never left me wandering off by my own. They always help me with directions and stuffs since malawak ang paaralang ito.
"Ayan! Perfect na!" Sabi ni Saiché at sinang-ayunan siya ni Cornelia. Nagtawanan pa kaming tatlo saglit at napagdesisyunang kumain muna ng sabay sa may cafeteria.
Nandito kaming tatlo sa may table malapit sa may bintana. I sat down near the window at hinintay si Saiché na nag-o-order ng mga food namin. I told her to pick what's best in the menu eh, so I don't know kung anong inorder niya for us. Kinda exciting.
Kapansin pansin ang dami ng mga estudyante rito. Ang iba ay may different circles of friends, while ang iba naman ay palakad lakad lang mag-isa at tila ba'y may hinahanap.
"So how's your few days here in Atlas Academy?" Panimula ni Cornelia dahilan para maagaw niya ang atensyon ko.
My lips were made into a smile. "It's good naman, I enjoyed your companies. Thank you for making me feel welcomed!" I giggled after saying those words.
She laughs and spats my shoulder lightly. "Ano ka ba! It's natural! And you should feel welcomed here, kasi welcome ka naman talaga! Excited na ako sa kung anong squad ka! OMG!" Sabi nito na may pasigaw sigaw pa na parang tumitili sa excitement.
Napakunot naman ang aking noo. "What do you mean squad?"
"There are squads here. Different squads with 5 members." Saad nito.
